"I came in to do my taxes from 2019 and 2020 on December 30th, last minute before the end of the year. I had a tax credit that was going to disappear if I didn’t get it done before January 1st. I was coming with my taxes from Oregon and taking them to an office in Kentucky. Really there was nothing easy about my situation. I spoke with a very friendly associate, Dee, at Jackson-Hewitt at their office on Locust Hill Drive in Lexington. She told me to come on by the office and they would take care of me. I came from about 45 minutes away and was greeted warmly by Dee. She heard my full situation with my taxes and realized that my tax needs were beyond the scope of what she knew how to do and she called a supervisor for advice on how to help me proceed. I greatly respected the fact that being a newer employee Dee recognized that she might not be able to give me the tax help that I needed and she made every attempt to get me in touch with someone that could. After a little discussion and being given some driving directions, I was directed to go to a different location, the North Broadway office, where Tonia Treadway was waiting to help me get my taxes done. That is exactly what she did. She handled the situation with knowledge that made me feel that my taxes were being prepared by someone I could trust to do it right. And it really took hardly any time at all. Over all the experience was a very positive one and Jackson Hewitt has a new customer in the future as a result."
