"This is honestly a beautiful place to stay, I mean not top notch, but waking up in a gated community is nice. BUT, here come the BUT, the people who run it are shady and talk about the people behind their backs. I understand that the majority are older residents, but they are catty. To me, it was uncomfortable to even talk with some of these people because I never knew if they'd run to their "regular" folks that live there year round and talk about what I said and laugh at me because they honestly have nothing better to do. And once you are on the bad side of ONE, ALL come for you. They can be very mean... kind of like if you were in high school again but for seniors. If you don't put a pool noodle back in it's exact spot you get talked about at morning coffee. It's ridiculous. BUT if you like that sort of thing, then go for it, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! They are honestly bullies if you're not liked, and it's very easy to get on their bad side."

"Manager went out of her way to accommodate our late arrival, get coins for laundry and made it really easy to extend our stay. People (residents) in the park were really friendly and helpful in giving us tips on where to go in the community. Pool needs to be updated (looks tired) but it was otherwise clean. We would stay at Sunset Palms again…we enjoyed the area."

"I love this park. It has a cute little dog park, lots of fruit trees and avocado trees and the people here are so nice. I love the spa, it's pretty big,and it has great jets for my back! Nancy the owner, is the nicest, friendliest, most hospitable RV park owner that I have ever been lucky enough to encounter. She goes out of her way to make a nice stay for everyone. We just love her. And we come every year. Thank you for all your hard work Nancy! We love you"

"We are just returning home from spending the month of February at Sunset Palms RV Park. We were a bit skeptical about the location, but wanted warm weather, because St.Louis can be cold and dreary. We were so happy with our stay! Everyone is SO friendly, the park is gated, the heated pool was wonderful, the hot tub great, and there are a million activities. We have already booked our stay for next year. Mel and Mike were the managers, and promptly address any issues immediately. (We had a beautiful banana tree right next to our camper)!"
