"Wish I had reviewed the reviews beforehand. Cleanliness looked ok. But after getting back later that night I had the opportunity to see the condition. Microwave was old and rusted all around the door. Fridge was disconnected and open. Had a bad musty smell. The whole room did. Toilet was cracked (seat) and not connected properly. Towels were old and very rough. Glad I brought my own. What I didn't expect to see were roaches. Shower and wall near the bed. Ugh. Dead roaches on the floor. Then on my duffle bag in the morning. Had to make sure I didn't have any in there or mixed with my clothes. Price seemed reasonable when booked. But after getting there way over priced. 1st and last time staying there."

"I love small places like this, so much more real than the big chain places. They are genuinely friendly and helpful, not because it's company policy. Room was clean, bed comfy and bathroom was clean. We stayed a month or so ago, will probably be back after Thanksgiving. Best part, after working most of the night, like I usually do, no one to get all butt hurt or trip when I jumped in the spa. Glad there is no late night / early morning dress code for the pool area. Only thing I miss is I lost the email to the manager."

"Well my gf and I never have privacy. So when we want to make dirty sweet love. We come here where the rent the rooms 2 HRS at a time. So when you need to get it in always come to the Value inn! My gf says it's the only place she knows where to go when she's maken love behind my back! Better in a comfy room then in the dirty streetz!"

"I was visiting from another city, I just wanted a simple hotel for a quick sleep. I saw the sign and decided to give it a try. For one night was $75, grated it was a last minute book, I may have gotten it cheaper booking ahead of time. I did a quick search and found other places for cheaper and with higher stars. I started to regret my last minute book, when I walked into room. I understand imperfections, however there was a few things that made the room feel cheap with bad maintenance. The bed was hard, felt like a spring mattress. Holes in the wall and a bug came out of the door frame. The door was not sealed and felt loose, even when locked with the dead bolt, made me feel unsafe with some guys walking around. Not sure if they were maintenance or people living there. However I ended up leaving early in the morning the next day. All in all, I want expecting much and not picky, however I wish I would've chosen another hotel. I gave three stars because the service was good. The lady at the front gave good service and helped me when I accidentally locked myself out of my room."

"Most reviews are misleading. The rooms are dusty. It seems that the management did some remodeling but everything is outdated. My room was full of bugs and dirty, with wrappers on the floor and a musty smell. As an experienced reviewer I will not mislead my followers. Please do yourself a favor and book your room somewhere else, sometimes a couple of bucks more will offer you a more healthy and safer experience."
