"This "lawfirm" should not even be a one star. My husband received a summons for a garnishment from an account from 2011. He had to pay it due to it being an old judgment. Judgments can be collected on in Indiana for 20 years. We called the lawfirm and paid the account in full on Feb 16th. They said I would receive a letter within 30 days stating the debt was paid. I asked if my husband needed to go to court still on March 1st and she said No. Their lawyers will show up and vacate the garnishment since it's been paid. I told my husband he better still go in case. He showed up today and their lawyer started asking garnishment questions. My husband told him, No, it's been paid in full. He provided the confirmation number I was given for the payment, screenshot from Lloyd & McDaniels payment portal showing zero balance, screenshot from Midland Funding LLC account showing zero balance, and a screen shot showing the amount taken from my husbands checking account. The lawyer stated he had no acknowledgment of the account being paid off nor did Lloyd and Mcdaniel send him any paper work stating that. This lawfirm is a mess and shady at best. When you have to deal with them, I would keep recordings and screenshots of any communication with them because they lie. My husbands case was moved to May 31 to give them more time to get their stuff together. My husband did his part and like many of the reviews, Lloyd and Mcdaniel did not do their part. GET IT TOGETHER! YOU ARE UNPROFESSIONAL!"

"Very, very, shady! I worked with Sharon and she had a bad attitude from the start. I paid the settlement as soon as I got my summons. Sharon was not there when I paid, so I paid Timothy I think was his name the balance owed. They have yet to notify the court a month later. Please get a lawyer when dealing with these people they will do everything to lie and cheat people."

"Piss Poor customer service. I work in debt settlement and unfortunately have to call this sorry excuse for a debt collection law firm. Prime example of what I deal with on a monthly basis: The client even agreed to Balance in full and I simply say we need a BIF letter BEFORE we can process the payment. This was 11/9/2023. I call back 11/17/2023 as we have yet to receive the letter. I was then advised to call back 11/20/2023. on 11/20/2023 I couldn't get anyone on the phone. Today: 11/21/2023, I was able to get a representative on the phone who advised they sent it to me 11/10/2023. I advised I never received. I also advised of my call 11/17/2023 and come to find out the sorry excuse for rep that I spoke to 11/17/2023 didn't note my call. after 4 more calls they put me through to a supervisor vice mail to which I have been sent many times before to leave a VM that I know won't be returned. They don't seem to care about the achieving of any sort o resolution between their clients and ours. Don't hire these people for your collection matters. Even when settlement companies are looking to pay them all your money they won't even answer the phone to get the job done! Spent Approx. half my shift calling over and over and over before they agreed to get a manager on the phone."

"So so very rude didn’t even give me chance to speak.. He was more frustrated than I were! I missed my settlement day 3days ago which I was confused because I did my first payment in November of 2022 so I thought in the year I’ll be done in November 2023 No that wasn’t the case so I’m trying to ask him questions and he getting pissed that I were confused I was trying asking about a payment since I missed it by 3days and they can’t help me I understand about customer service and it’s there job but what I don’t understand is the rudeness and unprofessional service you receive it’s not like I'm not paying my bill because I pay it every month No reminders or nothing that’s how they scam you smfh"

"They were told repeatedly that the account was uncollectible and to cease and desist all contact which they didn't do .. They launched a lawsuit against me which will take year to come to trial. The original debtor Credit One Bank 14 times to get paid through Consumer Credit Counseling which they prefused to do and sold them attempted to have them get paid and and paperwork repeatedly to get the debt settled ..every time they refused and sold the debt numerous times all of which I told to cease and desist contact. This law firm is unsuccu upulos and unprofessional just like the original debtor"
