Sullivan's Heating Cooling Plumbing

"I had to take down my original review due to not being able to respond or rebuttal what Sullivan's said in retaliation to my original review. I hate that you can't see everything in the dialogue but I will continue to erase and rewrite with every single comment that is made from this company. I have also noticed reading through several reviews of Sullivan's that it's usually either one star or five stars, nothing in between. So if you want to roll the dice and hope that you get a good experience go for it. As for me I will never use their company again and I will be very Swift to tell anybody and everybody my experience with them. Here's more of my story, hope this hope this helps someone else out. Everything started off really well with Sullivan's. I received quick service for getting an estimate at a reasonable price and decided to do business with them. The septic loans under my house had collapsed and the former owner had put them in a place that was not zoned for that so Sullivan's had to completely reroute my lawns and I was behind them all the way. They did an excellent job and I was very pleased with the service at this point however whenever I first called the first words out of my mouth were my toilet is running continuously then I followed that with my other ones are all clogged and my washer water is flowing into my bathtub. When the guys got done with the lawns and came in the house to check things I proceeded to ask them when they were going to fix the toilet. A man walked into the bathroom took the lid off of the toilet pushed around on some stuff and told me that it was the chain that was getting in the way that I would just need to watch that but otherwise everything was okay. He also then stated that if it did not work and things continue to not run correctly I should call back and get a time for them to come back out and fix anything that needed to be fixed. After a few days the toilet was still running constantly and we were having to use the shut-off valve so I called Sullivan and she said that they would call me whenever they got an opening. 2 weeks later after not hearing from her I proceeded to call back. When I told her who I was in the situation she proceeded to be very rude and informed me that that had nothing to do with what they were hired for and that this was a "me problem" not a "them problem". I also informed her that there was no hot water running into the tank of my toilets, which had never happened before.After making that statement she then told me that if I would like to have those problems addressed that should be more than happy to make an appointment for me so she could send someone out to give me a quote on how much the job would cost. I have the messages saved as well. Like I said in the texts, you will do whatever it takes to spin the situation to your favor and make it look as if the customer is delusional. I just hope that as potential customers and former customers can see how you give off an air of self-righteousness, belittling, and rudeness that you exude. The man from your business was correct in looking at the toilet, trying to fix it, and telling me if I had any more problems to notify your company. The ball was dropped when you refused to finish every aspect of the job. I just hope and pray you didn't cut any corners on the rest of the job you did at my home like you did with this part of the job. You might also want to stay off the Internet so much looking to see if you can ward off bad reviews and pay more attention to the jobs at hand."

"Sullivans took great care of me. My ac stopped cooling. I called them to make a appointment to have it looked at and they were here within 2 hours. Had me fixed right up. Very professional. Honest about price. Definitely would recommend"

"I was new to the Madisonville area. My family and I weren't in our new home 2 days before the drains all started backing up, and toilets wouldn't flush. I made several calls to plumbers in the area. I couldn't get anyone over for at least a week. Sullivan's made it that day and got us all squared away. Thank you, Sullivan's."

"We called to get an estimate from some plumbing work on our house. A gentleman came out the following week to look at the project and were told that Sullivan's would get back with us on the estimate. We waited 3 WEEKS before I called to ask about the estimate and were told that the gentleman that had the information had been out sick and they weren't sure when he'd be back; no problem at all. I called the following 2 Friday's in a row and got a similar response, the gentleman was not back from sick leave and they weren't sure when he'd be back but they would call me when they had any information for me. I waited and called this morning, 6 AND A HALF WEEKS after the initial visit for the estimate and was told, very abruptly, that they would not be able to help us and that they were "just told" that they were not accepting new contracts at this time. We have been waiting this whole time, holding out because the woman I have spoken to has been very personable and the gentleman that did the estimate was also nice and explained why we needed some repairs and why we wouldn't need other repairs. This is 6.5 weeks of waiting that could have been spent finding a different plumber/contractor to do the work. I know the weather has everybody ready to do work and overscheduled, etc but we found it unpleasant and unprofessional to wait this long to tell us that they could not do the work we asked them for."
