"Were do I start. I opened an account for my first daughter in 2010 with Phil Faulkner. As our advisor we were told to put place $10,000 into a bond with JP Chase and another $10,000 was placed into some penny stock. I told Phil I was interested in investing with Facebook because it was going public. Phil told me Facebook was not going anywhere because they don’t make anything. Later after Facebook came out at $48/share it dropped down to $17 so I called Phil after it went up to $18. Phil still advises me not to buy. Against his advise I told Phil to sell the penny stock and buy Facebook. Mind you Phil commission is extremely high when it comes to buying and selling Later in the years I had my second daughter in 2013. I gave Phil $5,000 for each girl and again Phil advises JP Chase bond. These bonds sit for 6.6 years till maturity. The $10,000 matured and made $154 and each $5,000 only made a little over $50. Yes that’s right. I did not make squat. I have done very well with E*TRADE and picking my own stocks. Facebook has done well for me despite what Phil advises. Hillard Lyons will not make you any money. I was finally able to get everything out of Hillard Lyons, which has sold off a few times and is now Baird company, and have everything in E*TRADE. Now that I can buy and sell for only $6.95 but Phil would charge $150 to buy and $150 to sell was crazy commission money. Phil has been an advisor for years but does not keep up with the stock market. Very poor advise and does not make you any money."
