"My mother has been using Dr. Jaco for all her animals for 9-10 years. Recently she went with her elderly little dog. She needed some help with her anal glands.. The nurse or Doctor said she could use a senior wellness panel, they said that they would come back and let my mom know the price$$$.. They waited in a room forever, no one came to give an estimated price.. Then the vet tech came in and said you’re ready to go pay and checkout. Lo and behold they performed the senior wellness panel… IT ALONE COST ALMOST $500.00 !!!!!! My mom was in shock As they did Not inform her about the cost before doing the procedure.. She went ahead and wrote a check for the full $800 visit. Then calmly wrote a letter to the doctor itemizing everything she would pay for, Except the $500.00 wellness panel because she did not consent to that… The doctor then got his county attorney involved and said she would face jail if she didn’t pay the full amount!!!!!!! Just Wow!!!!!! Her new Veterinarian told her that the same little dog was on some medications that she definitely Did Not Need!!!! Just bad business practices!!"
