"It was clean, and even accommodated me a late check out. .. .. I was in town for a funeral... So the late check out was perfect. Price was decent But I got home the next day and noticed a $200 hold on my debit card... I figured it was for a deposit...not happy about it but whatever Tonight I see that it has been charged. . .now I'm really upset, I called and of course the person at the desk has no idea why. I did nothing in that room ,but sleep, take a shower and leave from about 330 am -1:00 pm ... I don't smoke, didn't eat the free breakfast, only used one towel in the shower, slept on top of the bedspread... So if u do stay in Hobbs, maybe u should look somewhere else then the LEA COUNTY INN' !!!"
"My room was very clean and quiet. The staff were accommodating. I had arrived in town earlier than check in. They had a room that had not been used the day before and allowed me to check in early. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The hotel was clean and bright. This is my second stay with them."
"The hotel is wonderful. There are many small touches in the personal items they leave for the room. A shower cap, hair tie, makeup wipes, and various other things make it a touch above the rest. Located near the casino and an amazing fitness complex, there’s a convenience store right next door. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was a bit of fruit and the rest bread. Waffles, toast, bagels, oatmeal, bananas, oranges, yogurt, juice, and coffee. That was the entire menu. I have a dietary issue that prevents me from eating too much carbohydrate (think diabetes). This menu line up didn’t leave room for me to eat much. I ate some plain cream cheese on a half bagel. It would be nice to see any kind of protein on the list even if it was Heat and eat style. The pool was closed, and we didn’t explore anything else or other amenities. The ice machine was down as well. I still feel it was worth the price we paid. If I had known there were 3 smoking rooms at the end of the hallway it would have saved us from having to go to the car every few hours."
"Hidden Gem among all the other ratty old chains on this street! Pristine bathroom. Perfect caulk. Paint looks great and fresh. Super friendly staff bringing us extra towels and sheets. Nice staff. AC works great. Quiet! Amazed that this place is not packed! Price was PERFECT. Bad: pool down..of course (just fill it in) and “breakfast” had NO protein at all. Like get some pre-cooked hard boiled eggs or microwave sausage or something. Solid carbs."
"The check-in was straightforward, and the desk employee was courteous. The room was clean and had a small refrigerator and a microwave. Missing was a coffee maker. Coffee and muffins were available in a large room used for the continental breakfast 6am-9am. When trying to get a quick meal early, we had to wait until the various electric devices heated up. They should have been turned on so everything was ready by 6am. The staff encountered during the stay gave us the privacy we needed. A couple more towels would have been needed should the trip have been longer. I am sure more could have been provided on request. The television kept freezing during the evening, but otherwise, it was a quiet place to rest and not be bothered at a reasonable price."
