"I recently had the privilege of entrusting the care of my beloved pet to Dr. Rachel Geyer, and I cannot praise her and the clinic enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and efficiency, setting the tone for a positive experience during a stressful time. Dr. Geyer's professionalism and expertise were immediately evident. She took the time to thoroughly assess my pet's condition, explaining each step of the examination process in a way that was easy to understand. Her calm demeanor and reassuring words provided much-needed comfort, not just to my pet but to me as well. What truly sets Dr. Geyer apart is her genuine compassion and dedication to her patients. Despite the urgency of the situation, she never rushed through the appointment and made sure to address all of my concerns. Her genuine love for animals shone through in every interaction, making it clear that she treats each patient as if they were her own. The entire staff at the clinic also deserves recognition for their professionalism and dedication to providing excellent service. From the receptionists to the veterinary technicians, everyone worked seamlessly together to ensure a smooth and efficient visit. Thanks to Dr. Rachel Geyer and the veterinary urgent care team, my pet received prompt and effective treatment, and I left the clinic feeling reassured and grateful. I highly recommend Dr. Geyer to anyone in need of compassionate and expert veterinary care during urgent situations. Her commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication to her patients truly make her a standout veterinarian."
"Went to VSP for the first time today. It was a great experience. Very nice office with a knowledgeable staff. We saw Dr. Ty Gillenwaters and he was extremely thorough in his review and provided a ton of insight to what was going on with our pet. I would highly recommend if you need urgent vet care!"
"We highly recommend VSP. Our dog Daisy was having trouble breathing. It happened on a Sunday when our vet was closed. We called our vet and heard on the message to take emergency cases to VSP. They immediately took Daisy back. The vet updated us about every hour explaining what test they were doing and the results. They determined that Daisy needed 24/7 oxygen treatment at Metropolitan. They placed an iv so she would be ready to receive sedating medication for the oxygen treatment once she arrived at Metropolitan. They called and discussed her critical condition with the ER Vet. They also sent everything over to Metropolitan. Then they sent everything to our vet too. The workers were all friendly and helpful. VSP is a great option for when your vet is closed."
"Stay away from them They responded to my review here. It certainly does validates my point. If you care about your dog, take the time to read this. They are not who they say they are. It’s a big fancy show with big words that a non medical person would not know or understand, that simply doesn’t make them anything more than bad communicators. They dazzle and mislead in order to confuse, they only charged me money, but did no valuable services for my dog themselves. They told me I’d have to go to someone else to get things taken care of! Beagle with growth on upper hind leg A Veternarian In Walton Ky referred me to them as Surgeons that could take care of him. I don’t go there anymore either. Set up an appointment in Georgetown Ky this is over an hour long drive one way. Got to the office in Georgetown on the day of the appointment, only to find out they were merely renting a room there. I let them do some test because I just wanted my dog to be ok. After waiting 4 hours there and $1200 or $1500 in charges they were not able to tell me much of anything that was helpful. Lots of big words and warnings of doom. I don’t remember the exact charge amount. Just mad as hell about it all. They were supposed to call me in a few days to get a plan together for surgery They never did I had to call them Then they had to call me back because I couldn’t tell me anything This was a good indicator of incompetence. When they did call back later that day, they tried to get me to schedule an appointment with a REAL surgeon Not them but a different REAL surgeon located in Louisville Kentucky and the charge would be $3500-$4000. With a lot of scary comments that seemed to say my dog would likely die there anyways. So it seems they’re not surgeons they’re crooks they’re idiots. They did nothing beneficial for my dog All they did was waste my time and money. I took my dog to another vet in Erlanger, Kentucky, The Veternarian there handled his problem very professionally Months later now and He is doing just fine, and it was not nearly as much as what they were going to charge me In my opinion, they are crooks and charlatans, and prove themselves to definitely not be what they said they were I trusted them and was willing to do what was needed to have my dog taken care of. I told them so when I met the man there named Rizzo. Knowing this: They took ADVANTAGE of me!!!!! My reply: Your response validates everything I said about you!!!! Proves to everyone that reads this. By using a bunch of big technical words you talk talk talk and ramble on to confuse and to make things bigger than what they are. No smart persons are going to be impressed. Again, just makes you bad communicators. You take peoples money and you don’t really do anything of value at all. You are gold-diggers, that just take advantage of people when they are vulnerable in a time of need. God sees everything you’re doing in the end you will pay for it. You razzle dazzle and charge a lot of money for things aren’t really necessary. I took my dog to a REAL veterinarian!!!! They did a surgery on him for a fraction of the cost that you were going to charge and he is doing just fine. They just took him in, loved him and took care of him. They just did it. No BS. Thanks again for validating my points. Poor little guy I feel so bad for subjecting him to your over the top invasive treatment. (notice I didn’t use the word care here.)"
"My husband and I had to bring our chihuahua in today who was critically ill for an emergency visit, the staff at this hospital went above and beyond to help us and showed so much compassion. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a good vet team to care for your furry babies. The dr had so much compassion that she had tears in her eyes when talking about the sad decision we had to make to put our little baby to rest. Thank you guys for being such an awesome team and caring for us and our fur baby in the worst time possible."
