"Dr John and his staff we're so Connie considerate when we said goodbye to our dog Ruby very much appreciate it Mark & Lisa Adams"
"This is the best veterinarian office in the city. Not only are their prices affordable, they are definitely "animal people." We've taken our animals here for over 20 years. The doctors and staff have so much love, compassion and thoughtfulness for the patients they care for. I'm forever grateful for the love and respect they've shown for my family, both animals and human. Thank you all so much for what you do. I'd highly recommend this office to anyone."
"The place is the best place, and only place, you should take your fur babies! The front desk staff is phenomenal. They are attentive, professional, knowledgeable and really take the time to get to know your animal. If I’ve ever had a question, they have an answer. If I needed a refill and sent a text/message, they’ve sent a response within minutes. Joel, Hunter, and Justin are my heroes! They were able to distract my 156 lb. 1 1/2 year old English Mastiff and get his shots taken care of and his nails trimmed. Yes, it took all three of them. But not because he’s aggressive, quite the opposite. He thinks everyone wants to pet him and he’s nosy :-D One of them was even brave enough to sit on the floor to do this! These guys are the best and it shows that they like what they do. Now, the vet that saw my dog that day behaved as if she was afraid of him. My dog has never been aggressive and loves people. Even after she witnessed this and I explained this to her, her behavior was unchanged. If someone is a vet and is afraid of animals, it’s time for them to change professions… js. Anyway, I was assured that I’d get a different vet next time. This place is great! Please check them out!:-)"
"Dr John’s has taken care of my dogs for years and are so helpful every time I call . Dr Scott was thorough with Miranda, the vet, tech so supportive. I love the way they examine the pet while you’re in the room & don’t take the pet away to be examined. Unnecessary tests are not performed & recommendations are always explained. Such friendly environment to humans & animals!!"
"If I could give this place Zero Stars I would. I had to put my beloved dog Bogey down yesterday due to this Vet's negligence and extreme irresponsibility as far as I am concerned. I am heartbroken and very angry as to the reason my Bogey died. I actually called their office yesterday morning and tried to get an appointment because my dog was very sick. I ended up taking him to Blue Pearl and then we were transferred to Metropolitan where he was eventually put to sleep an hour later. We are devastated with his loss. Bogey was diagnosed with Leptospirosis. It is a bacterial infection that spreads through the bloodstream. Dogs can get leptospirosis from puddles or bodies of water that carry urine from infected wildlife. Both Blue Pearl and Metro Doctors asked if Bogy had received the Lepto vaccine. I had never heard of it. I am furiously angry to find out now that there was a vaccine that could have prevented Bogey's death. Neither Dr. John nor any other doctor/staff at this office never, ever informed me about this vaccine. Even worse, Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease, which means it can spread from animals to people. So now I have to worry about not only my other pets but me and my family as well. Please heed this warning and get your pets vaccinated for this infectious disease. We lost a beloved family member, my granddaughter lost her protector and my husband lost his best buddy. I have no confidence with Dr. John's Pet Clinic in their ability to administer the best care for animals."
