"Me and my wife had the pleasure to work with jesse at peace law. He was very understanding and walked us through the whole process from the beginning. He was very helpful with any questions we had as well as I was able to call him and ask questions when they arose. They made everything easy to do without physically being their face to face when we needed to turn in documents and other paperwork that was requested. He talked us through everything to expect so we were never blind sided about anything as well as made sure this was the best option before actually doing the bankruptcy. "Whatever you do, dont tell them if you are un happy with the way they are handling things. I did this, said I was thinking of going thru another attorney and I would let them know if I would keep them or not. The attorney said if thats so, then we will just go ahead and close it. After a few more words were thrown back and forth, they let me kmow that if they walk away from a case, you dont get any money back that you have already paid. I quote the attorney, " It doesnt work that way". So if you are gonna use a bankruptcy attorney anywhere, make sure you know how they operate and will be satisfied with their work or you will get taken for a fool like I did. They werent even apologetic, would only say rest assured no one hung up on you intentionally, must have been phone problems. Whatever, I wasnt born yesterday. When someone asks you if there is a better time to talk to you and you say no in the middle of airing your opinion about their work quality, then you hear a click, you know it wasnt a phone issue. An attorney's work quality could affect you after the filing if things arent done right, you better trust who you hire the first time, or lose money like I did with nothing to show but frustration and an empty pocket. P.S. This goole maps listing says they are in Lexington. Not once did I speak with anyone from Lexington. All my contacts were in Corbin which is 1hr 30 min away from me. I would find someone who is close so a face to face is done, not everything digitally uploaded which is the only option they gave me. Not sure if this last part will help anyone, but I sure would have liked to know this before I called the number listed on Google Maps and started my conversation with them."
