About Us
Hotel Clovis Lofts is a historic ten-story former hotel located in the heart of Clovis, New Mexico. Designed by renowned architect Robert Merrell in the Art Deco style, this iconic building was opened in 1931 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
After closing its doors in 1983, the hotel underwent a major renovation led by developer Stephen Crozier. Today, Hotel Clovis Lofts offers 31 loft-style apartments in the beautifully restored Art Deco building, as well as 8,000 square feet of commercial space. Additional units are also being constructed in two separate buildings nearby.
While originally intended for upper-income assisted living, the apartments at Hotel Clovis Lofts are now HUD-assisted and provide affordable housing for lower-income individuals. The street-level commercial spaces are still available for lease, offering a unique opportunity for businesses to become part of this historic landmark.
