"15 years of service, multiple family members go to her. Not anymore, she is always 30+ minutes late to every appointment, and now this. 2 years in a row now we are filing taxes late because of her. Now this year we are filing taxes ourselves but late because she is refusing to email a link to me or my wife. A LINK. that's all we needed and she is refusing to do that. If you want more money go to TurboTax, anyone else but her. If she treats customers of 13 years like this, I'd hate to see how she treats customers who are new. I'll be filing a formal complaint with the irs, and by the looks of her reviews she might already have a few out."
"We’ve been going to her for close to 10 years with good experiences but this year she missed our scheduled zoom meeting and never followed up or explained what was happening. i’ve been emailing her for two weeks trying to get some sort of explanation or answer but she just didn’t reply to any of them. I see now from other reviewers that we’re not alone."
"Very good at what she does but too busy to answer emails or the phone. I used her two years prior and this third time was not possible due to the fact she fired me, the customer. The story begins like this: I set up a zoom meeting for the tax preparation, but she never joined the call, even after I waited more than 20 minutes. I then got an email from her asking for more information regarding the itemization and my wife's W2 which I thought I had, but turns out was never received in the mail. This pushed our paperwork back a week; however, after almost three weeks waiting and several emails back with no response (all the paperwork and questions had already been answered on my end) I sent out a final email stating I was going to show up at her office after work. Once I showed up, she seemed confused and asked who I was. After I stated who I was she had nothing else to say other than the fact that my paperwork was under a big stack of other returns because I had not provided everything. Maybe she thought I hadn't provided everything but I did, the problem is she doesn't answer the phone or emails because she is swamped with work (overloaded as she put it). She said that she works 16 hour days and that she doesn't keep track of who is next, therefore mine and other people's tax paperwork sit in the backburner until she has time to catch up. I asked when my turn will come and she stated she had no idea. There two other customers in the office that day and she started to get anxious and frustrated by my presence. In spite of this, I remained calm and stated the fact I had started the process a month ago and that the due date was coming up soon. At that point she essentially fired by saying I had to go somewhere else to get them done. I do not for a moment doubt her knowledge and abilities or whether she is a good or bad person, but I do know that the way she handled this situation was unprofessional. I know I am only on person complaining but if you are like me you want to at least get some sort of confirmation that your taxes are being done on time. The only bad thing is she does not do well communicating, to me at least. I went out two weeks before the taxes are due and found someone else who completed them the same day, and although the price is higher, I am getting money back, considerably more than I thought in both federal and state. due to the fact made more money this past year. In contrast, the years I filed with her I had to pay back to the federal government. Teffany, I don't mean to throw dirt but you need to either slow down or hire someone to help you answer calls or emails."
