"Would give negative stars if I could. Worst banking and loan experience I’ve ever experienced. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. Application process was extensive and a headache from the beginning. Funding took forever. They contacted my employer twice, AFTER I had already verified my employment. Changed the terms of my loan with no notification to me at all. Their online services and app were inoperable and inaccessible 90% of the time. When I called to figure out why my loan terms changed, I was transferred to this local branch and David was one of the most useless, unprofessional, rude employees I’ve ever dealt with. Couldn’t answer any of my questions or provide any explanation, and didn’t even attempt to help me other than just confirm the issue I called about. I’ve had better customer service experience from automated answering services than from David. Cant say a good word about my experience with Mariner Finance and wouldn’t and won’t ever recommend them to anyone"

"I must say when I first was approved for extra funds I was thankful however when I told the young man I am disabled 85% bedridden and if they could make any accommodations like coming to my house or if I could get to their location if they could just come to my car that I have lost majority of my mobility and causes horrible pain when I do walk. He made it very clear nope we can't do anything you just have to come in just call me when you figure it out. I was like wow. Called next day talked to another gentleman was told same thing unfortunately. So now I'm stressed, anxiety is out of control worried about how I'm getting in to their office and hoping I don't fall. So next day I called to schedule a time and a really awesome young Lady named Brittany answered I explained to her my concerns but I needed to schedule my appointment. She was so caring, and immediately said hold one moment let me check on something. She quickly came back on the phone and asked do I have a computer I said yes ma'am she said then let me send you all these document requests to your email you can upload photos of ID,and income verification then complete my loan over the phone and that way I wouldn't have to take risk of coming to office. I was so excited thanked her over and over again. It's sad the other guys didn't even offer this option and told me they had no options. Brittany is so amazing we processed my loan the next day finalizing everything quickly all because she took the time to care. Thank you Ms Brittany."
