"There has been one issue after another with getting my place sold with this title company. I certainly don’t feel it’s all one person who had a hand in it because for a machine to run well, all parts must be greased and properly functioning. But today I have been waiting around all day for the final paperwork so I could go get it notarized and returned via UPS back to them so we could move forward with closing tomorrow afternoon. Well, if you look at the highlighted times the emails were exchanged you’ll notice that it’s pretty late in the day. Matter of fact late enough that the notary closest to me has gone home for the day. I called. Even if they were still at the office it’s unlikely I could drive there in time to get it done before they did go home. Also factoring in I had to print the documents myself as well and then would have to drive over to the place get a parking spot and run in the door all before the notary went home. If teleportation was an option this may have been possible. I spent the whole day at home waiting for these documents to arrive, knowing they would and I’d be needing to have them notarized. I’ve checked my email at minimum 20 times throughout the day. Nothing all day. Then at 4:33p I get them with instructions on how to get them notarized and back to her by morning!!?? I had to read it twice to make sure I was reading it correctly! At 4:33p there is no one who is going to still be working near me to notarize documents and overnight them by the time I can get there! What kind of a business runs like this? I have purchased and sold properties in 4 states and five different counties. I have never had issues with a title company like I have with this one. Matter of fact they’ve all been almost too quick for me in some cases. This one seems to find ways to drag it out day after day without even trying. Not impressed Mattingly Ford. Not impressed at all."
