"Dr Kanga now works at Healthfirst Bluegrass Behavioral Department. She lied to me right off the bat, then wouldn't admit to it when asked to. She's terrified to give out controlled substances and will put you on a child's dose of ADHD Medications if you're an adult, so don't bother. If you are a parent seeking help for your child's ADHD, it's likely she won't give them the possible ritalin they need, she won't give much over vitamin D supplements and Cymbalta. If you have a severe case, Phyllis Milburn who works with her looks at you like you're totally insane, and thinks herself to be quite sane and great. She half listens to what you're saying, and throughout my first appointment for severe adult ADHD stemming from brain damage, she rushed me stating: "ok ok c'mon, we have to get through this it's almost time for Dr. Kanga and I to leave!" Loren the nurse up front lied to me right to my face over and over, Phyllis lied over and over, they bring in their bodyguard Tara who is not even a practitioner, which is a violation of YOUR HIPPA RIGHTS to which they don't ask YOUR PERMISSION if she can sit in on your appointment or not, they simply do what they want. Tara ripped me a new one for doing the behaviors that I wss there TRYING TO GET HELP FROM, even though in person I was NEVER aggressively confrontational or violent to ANY of them. If you impulsively speak your mind and call them out for ALL of their lies, they convince you that YOU'RE the problem. They honestly could care less. They won't give you the benefit of the doubt or a chance to tell your side of the story. Don't waste your or your childs time, go to a psychiatrist who actually cares. If you don't want to mercilessly get thrown off your medication cold turkey, stay away from this establishment. Marla the director will do little in the way to help you, she just simply complains about you to Tara who violates HIPPA so that she can punish you for your sin of asking the director to actually investigate the lies of her practitioners, so no help there either. Racism towards white people is ramped in this establishment and treated like second class citizens. Healthfirst Bluegrass should be shut down until an entirely new staff and training can take over and fire the bad ones. I'm seeking legal action against Healthfirst Bluegrass, so take my advice and steer clear."
