"Don’t take your kids here. They will deny services for infants and kids that are sick. I have a 1 month old and a 18 month old and they denied services for my kids today. The lady’s at the front desk are really rude and unprofessional. They will stop checking you in to check someone else in. My 18 month old has been going there since he was a newborn. They will cuss you out and threaten you."
"0 stars. Stay far away. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in a doctor's office. A yearly well check took 3 HOURS to complete. The nurse used a broken blood pressure machine on my children which kept reading an error. Instead of doing it by hand, she tried it on my kids three times, saying "They're just wiggling too much". It was squeezing them so tight it left BRUISES!! They were screaming, trust broken after me encouraging then to just stay still a little longer, and I told her we were done just forget it. This lady scoffed saying they were the problem and left. I was absolutely livid. Before and after this, the staff was rude, condescending, and dismissive. The waiting room was dirty, plus no real separation for sick patients. Its a shame the ky healthcare system is in such shambles that I live 35 mins away and this was the closest to take Medicaid insurance. But I can see clearly how little this office actually cares about it's patients and we won't be back again."
"I would give 0 stars. I called on Monday 1/20/2020 at 10:16am to make appt for child being extremely sick. Receptionist asks if I can make it for an 11:20am appt, which I said yes. Made it on time to appt. By 12:45 we still had not been seen nor even brought back to a room! Asked receptionist what the hold up was for and there were 2 other parents asking. Receptionist told one parent they were Under staffed, then told the 2nd parent the doctor went on lunch! Extremely unprofessional and I will not be bringing my children back. If they were that behind, they knew that when I called to see if they had any available appts at 10:16am. More concerned with squeezing as many people in then actually providing medical care!"
"I don't usually do this but im hoping I can prevent someone else (patient or future employee) from wasting their time with this small office! As a former employee who has seen behind the scenes of this place I would not recommend taking your child here for safety and privacy reasons. The Medical Assistants and Dr. Osbourne gossip and make fun of your childrens conditions after leaving the room. Privacy is not withheld. The wrong vacines are sometimes given to your children and are covered up. A child once fainted after his blood was drawn and I was told from another member of staff that he was "making it up". The MD does not know the difference between a lice and a flea dispite her college background. Blood is drawn from the childs wrong finger (pointer) which could break small fragile bones. Employees read inappropriate books while on the job and do not properly sanatize rooms. The Medical Assistants do not speak english and cannot understand what is going on with your child. As far as being an employee the MD shows favoritism and only hires extras to use them for busy seasons and then dumps them when no longer needed and keeps her favorites. The employees gossip to one another in spanish and set up other employees. Benefits aren't good at this office and the turn over rate is extremley high. Hard work is not appreciated, favorites are appreciated. Hopefully I saved someone so trouble, thank you!"
"I took my son to Pediatric and Neonatal Specialists because Dr. Sarosahn and Dr. Wade were my pediatricians. When they closed the Dutchman's Lane office, everything went to hell in a hand basket. Dr. Sarosahn retired suddenly and no one could tell me where Dr. Wade ended up, even though she had been the one treating my son since he was a newborn. I ended up taking my son to the Broadway office for his 9m wellness check, though he was sick with an upper respiratory infection that we had been seen in the ER for the night before, so the visit turned into a follow up. Even with an appointment, it took over two hours to even be seen by the doctor, which I wasn't exactly happy about because my baby was sick. We were being seen by Dr. Osborne, and once she got into the room she was being thorough. She examined my son and had him swabbed for a flu test and then left the room. A nurse came in with a breathing machine and turned it on, then left me to give him the treatment since I was experienced. I put the mask over my son's face but almost immediately smelt something that seemed like something was burning. I held the mask to my nose and it smelled woodsy to me, like wood chips or something. I turned the machine off and went to get someone, I opened the door and a different nurse was outside. She came in and turned the machine on, smelled what I smelled, and went to get the nurse that had been helping my son. The first nurse came into the room, seeming aggravated, and said that it was albuterol in the machine. I told her that in the 6 months that I'd been giving my son albuterol, between the doctor's office, hospital, and home, I had never noticed a smell, let alone one so strong. I wanted to know why this was so different. She walked out of the room again to retrieve the bottle of liquid, held it up, and repeated that it was albuterol in the machine. She asked me if I was going to give it to my son, pointing at the machine. With no explanation of the difference, or offer of replacing any part of the treatment, I said that if it was all the same I would just give him his regular breathing treatment at home. The nurse said ok and closed the door. She came back a few minutes later to draw my son's blood for a CBC, stating that the doctor wanted the blood work. We chitchatted and she left again. A few minutes past that a receptionist comes into the room. She says that the doctor says that I needed to take my son to the ER to be treated. I was immediately terrified. I asked what was wrong with my son, what had his CBC shown?! The receptionist said that the doctor said that I wasn't following her course of treatment and that we needed to leave to go to the ER because there was nothing more that she would do. So I was made to leave, sick baby in tow. There could have been an explanation for the albuterol smell but I'll never know because the doctor couldn't be bothered to speak to me, preferring instead to receive a onesided encounter and then to send a non medical professional to act as bouncer. This was so completely unprofessional that I can hardly wrap my head around it all. Who has an ego so delicate as a physician that they can't be bothered with a parent that has questions? And what kind of monster turns a sick baby away? I'll never be back, I don't recommend them in the slightest."
