Reviews of Radiotherapy Centers of Kentuckiana - Louisville
"Have been going to RCK for 6 weeks now for radiation therapy for prostate cancer. The entire staff at RCK Louisville are an amazing, caring, and professional staff that make you feel like family. They keep the atmosphere light and pleasant and help patients through difficult situations. I can’t say enough about the RCK staff. Dr. Forsthoefel is an excellent doctor with a great bedside manner who puts you at ease and is available to answer all your concerns. Love the radiation therapists Maureen, Leslie, and Morgan."
"Dr Hochman was the best. He didn't pull any punches during the initial consultation, but was very optimistic as well. He asked probing questions seemingly aimed at ensuring I understood my options, and that I was choosing radiation therapy as an informed patient. He took all the time I needed and didn't seem rushed at all. Best of all, he seemed sympathetic to my condition, which is a rarity in the medical field these days. The staff... wow. These folks were amazing. They were always cheerful, always communicative, and always supportive, even through the worst days of treatments. One day they asked me to pick a song to play during the treatments... I said "anything" Christian music. She knocked my socks off with Mercy Me's "Even If". Little did she know how many times I've played that song through my cancer journey. I couldn't help but "lose it" during treatment. It meant so much to me in a bad time that day. Thanks to all of the staff and doctors at RCK."
"The doctors, techs and staff are simply amazing. It is weird to say, having cancer, that I left treatment everyday with a smile on my face because of the people at Radiotherapy Centers of Kentuckiana."
"A stressful time was greatly eased by the professional, friendly staff. The appointments were always timely. Highly recommend Radiotherapy Centers. Everyone working there are great."
"The whole experience from first finding out if radiation therapy would be right for me through my 45th radiation therapy session has been great. The Oncologists listened to my questions and eased my mind over different issues. The ladies at the front desk and the nurses were a pleasure to see every day. The Radiation Therapists that I dealt with more than all the others were simply great. I don't have enough good things to say about them. Marla, Leslie, Allie and Erica were some special people, there were several more and some students that I didn't get their names, that treated me so well. The ones that treated me on my final treatment made it an extra special day. They did something for me that meant so much to me. I could not thank them enough. I saw these ladies every Monday through Friday for 45 treatments and thanks to Covid I never saw their faces. I would have given them all big hugs if I could have."
