"Amazing! Our tour guide Brenner was super friendly and knowledgeable! Depending on the time of year you get to meet foals and colts to feed and pet. Meet the mares (pregnant) and their stallions. They are a birthing and raising farm for race horses. We knew nothing about race horses and left with an amazing knowledge and history. I could go again and learn even more information. I would definitely recommend going and taking the time to learn and meet the horses. The property is large and all horses are well kept! We come from LA and the difference is outstanding."
"Knowledgeable and friendly guide made learning about the farm operations fun and educational We loved that this was a self driving tour which made us very comfortable about covid risks and about being able to leave if things ran over time. Fascinating to learn about the breeding of Thoroughbreds."
"A fantastic and very informative tour! We got to spend plenty of time with the horses and Kelly, our tour guide, was super nice! I'm glad we chose this farm, you sure can tell they love and take good care of the horses in Mill Ridge."
"Travel plans only allowed us to pass through Lexington area on a Monday and this was one of the few options for us...but don't let that make you feel like you had to settle! This tour was great! While no bathrooms on your tour, you drive short distances through the beautiful farm from stop to stop in your own vehicle. Each stop is informative, and not rushed. Bonus you get to interact with the horses by getting to feed them carrots. Plenty of time for photo taking and question asking at each stop ."
"We enjoyed our visit to Mill Ridge, it is a beautiful farm, lots of horses! Brittney our tour guide did a great job of providing the history of the farm and hands on experience with the horses. We haven't visited other farms to compare to but, this experience was very good! We saw the stallion, Oscar Performance, and many young horses."
