The Medical Assistant program covers vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, laboratory testing, and administrative duties, preparing students for a rewarding career in healthcare.
In addition to the Medical Assistant program, Ross College also offers an Occupational Therapy Assistant program where students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree. Occupational Therapy Assistants work under occupational therapists to help patients with rehabilitation needs, focusing on compassion and attention to detail. Graduates are eligible to take the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) exam upon completion of the program.

"The enrollment process was easy and informative. The hours were excellent for me. The MIBOA instructor is great. She is very knowledgeable and her experience as a nurse was great for giving us examples and stories related to what we were learning at the time. However, I feel the curriculum needs to be revised to an extent. And the instructor isn't given any leeway with the way the curriculum is presented. I think with as much experience as they have, they should be able to use that knowledge to change up the way information is presented at times.
