"The new PT will over charge you! I have been going to Kort PT on Chinoe Rd for years and had always had a great experience with Lee Miller. Lee moved out of state this summer and Emily Wright took his place. Emily is nice, but she started billing my insurance for more "services" than Lee did, even though she did the exact same or less than Lee did for/with me. I did not receive billing until after seeing Emily four times. Once I realized I was being over charged compared to before she took over, I called the office. The front office manger told me that Emily must have taught me new therapy techniques, which I said she did not. I wanted to know why Emily wasn't coding my insurance the exact same way Lee did since nothing about my therapy changed. Emily was out for a couple weeks, so I was unable to speak with her about this and the front office manager said she had to bill what was coded from the PT. In other words, couldn't help me. I was not finished with my treatment but refused to go back to this office or any other Kort location. This is very shady business practice. I am sure most people have straight co-pays for their insurance and don't notice they are billing the insurance companies more. But I have to pay towards my deductible and am not happy that I have had to pay a lot more than when Lee was my PT."
