About the Regeneration Distilling Co.
Located at 31 East Broadway Street in Winchester, Kentucky, Regeneration Distilling Co. is a unique bar and tourist attraction that offers a craft farm-to-bottle distillery experience. As Clark County's first Class B distillery, Regeneration Distilling Co. is the same farmer distillers as Wildcat Willy's, now operating under a new brand.
At Regeneration Distilling Co., visitors can enjoy a focused distillery tour and daytime bar lounge experience. The distillery specializes in distilling seasonal grains, tubers, and fruits, offering spirits that are available "right off the still" or aged in local tobacco barns before being bottled for sale.
Housed in one of the oldest buildings in Winchester, Regeneration Distilling Co. has revitalized the historic property, which has a fascinating past. Originally a wool carding factory in 1833, the building later served as a church for 56 years before becoming a battery and electric company in the 1920s.
After being condemned and on the verge of demolition in 2015, Regeneration Distilling Co. stepped in to save the building. The distillery was founded in 2016, and after extensive renovations, it opened its doors almost three years later as Clark County's only Class B Craft Distillery, Bar, and Lounge.
Visitors to Regeneration Distilling Co. can explore the building's rich history and enjoy a selection of spirits, including aged single-barrel bourbon and genuine Kentucky moonshine. Shop locally on Broadway for a unique gift or treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind distillery experience at Regeneration Distilling Co.

Reviews of Regeneration Distilling Co.
"Had a great experience at Regeneration Distillery! The Distiller/Bartender Kyle was super nice and knowledgeable. The place is laid back and very comfortable. Wonderful product as well."
"We had such a great and informative visit to Regeneration Distilling! We did a tasting/tour with Eric and he shared so many cool facts about the process and the building itself. LOVED the cinnamon rye whiskey.. will be looking forward to purchasing it in the near future! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town! Great guys running it."
"Great service and we loved the tour and free samples! We bought several jars of moonshine and look forward to returning again soon. If you're looking for an amazing experience this would be it!!"
"I’m not understanding any of the positive reviews of this place - either customers have really low standards, or they business has recently had a very unfortunate decline in service… We went in with a work group on a Thursday, everyone arriving at staggered times in pairs or threes, and the place was empty aside from us (maybe 15 total?). There were two women working the bar and seating area, one male ‘cook’ (although I’m not sure anything is made fresh, from the menu and the dishes I saw come out it appears everything can be reheated from frozen then covered in or coupled with a sauce), and one preteen boy (??!!) sitting on the long side of the bar; there was also one adult male in a polo walking around for a bit, but he acted as if he was off work. We were the only two people at the bar (aside from the kid), on the short side closer to the seating area, and everyone else already had a drink. Somehow it took us 25 minutes to receive bottled drinks, and we had to actively recruit the woman behind the bar to do something other than talk to the kid or wander around somewhat aimlessly. God forbid you ask about happy hour, which is clearly written on their chalkboard as 4-6, but when we asked the woman behind the bar, she defaulted to the other server, who texted someone (??) to inquire, and that person responded 7-9 pm, but maybe just for food, or does that include drinks too? The world may never know, we certainly didn’t, as there was zero clarification (or any sense of urgency to offer it). My husband ordered some overpriced (full price, not happy hour) wings, and I ended up only having one drink after he had to chase down the ‘bartender’ (term used loosely) for a second. If this were the only bar in town, I’d say buy packaged liquor and take it back to your house/hotel - this place is more of a frustration than a desirable destination. One star for the cool reuse of a historic building, and one star for the ladies working, because despite their complete and utter lack of organization and professionalism, they were nice, and did provide me with warm water to make a bottle for my baby."
"Very friendly staff and delicious food! I enjoyed the moonshine creamsicle to drink, had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and ate the burger with bacon jam and a side of sweet potato fries as the main course. Sitting outside on the patio was nice and I was able to bring my dog. They were even nice enough to give him a fresh bowl of water. I snagged a pint of their 16 season bourbon on my way out as I’ve tried it before and it’s delicious. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town, thanks for the hospitality!"
