"Please steer far away from here if you plan on giving birth/pregnant. I cannot tell you in this review everything because it’ll be a book. But for starters you are just a number to them! You will never see the same doctor twice, they will never take you seriously. Extremely rude nurses and doctors. They’re called sloppy joe for a reason. One doctor will tell you one thing and the next will tell you the complete and total opposite. Called today at 9am to let them know i would be coming up to sign a release of records form because honestly i just trusted my gut and made a post on a local fb group and i cannot count on my hands and toes how much horror stories i was told. Anyways, i called the Richmond office because it is closer to my house to let them know I’ll be up there today. They told me their office closed at 4:30pm. I went there at 2:50pm and the office was closed and they won’t be in till Tuesday. So complete and totally lied to my face and waste of gas. A JOKE! never have i ever felt so uncomfortable at an obgyn or rushed like i did here. Also if you’re just there to see an obgyn and not pregnant they will schedule you an appointment and they will tell you “ your doctor is delivering a baby sorry we need to reschedule.” From just the waiting room i have seen so many patients turned down when they had an appointment. GO TO UK OR BAPTIST!!!"

"Called 6x to let them know I was running 10 mins behind due to my car key battery dying. No answer, so I left a voice mail. I arrive exactly 11 mins late for my appointment that was at 930. The receptionist proceeds to tell me my appointment was st 920 and she never got a voice-mail. I was instructed to arrive at 920 to fill out paper work which is already in their system because I'm not a new patient. So therfore I can't be seen because I've been marked as a no show. Worst place. Zero stars would not recommend. Didn't enjoy my first experience and surely not my 2nd experience. If you're looking for an obgyn just go to Lexington because it's not worth your time coming here."

"Everything I go here, I get told that I need to see a bariactric surgeon and or a nutritionist. I have needed a pap done for about 2 or 3 years now but every time I've gotten ready for that, I had an ultrasound and to check my sugar. Twice I've left there crying. My sugar is not normally high and I get it tested every year with my regular doctor. Was told my him that I wasn't ovulating despite me still having periods. I've been on the hunt for another obgyn instead of him."

"I had an appointment today with Dr. Anthony Smith at the CHI OBGYN in Richmond. This was a referral by my doctor for an annual visit (PAP) which was not done. What was done, however, was Dr. Smith telling me that dispite my doctor believing the inflammation in my arteries being from my birth control, as it could possibly be and since I have been on birth control for 10 years that would make the most sense, it was instead most definitely because I am overweight and need to lose weight. I was repeatedly told this was the source of all of my health problems while sitting in this room despite bringing all the records I could to show him the other issues I have. And explaining that when this started I was actually really active, eating healthy and only 180 pounds. He recommended me seeing a nutritionist, and a bariatric surgeon because of it. All after I sat in the waiting room for a half hour and in the examination room for an hour in a paper gown with a paper sheet over my legs, which I didn't need because again, he didn't do a PAP, or anything. It took everything in me to not cry while I was in the examination room. His behavior was absolutely disgusting, and unprofessional and based on other reviews I have seen I am certainty not the only one who thinks so."

"We aren't even allowed to record or have a copy of the ultrasounds here but it's fine for the nurses and everyone to have a look at it but we can't share it. The pictures they give are crazy you can't even tell what your looking at and they bring in new people that come in with a hair in their assess. You shouldn't allowed to have a hair when it ces someone's child. Don't go here because it seems they erase their bad reviews."
