"I saw doctor Davenport for about 5-6 years. She even performed a surgery on me when I was 16. HOWEVER I haven’t been to an OBGYN in years because of the emotional trauma she has caused me. I had a bump that I was concerned about a few years ago, she took ONE look at it, and misdiagnosed me with an STD. She then tried to use acid to burn the bump off, with no luck. I went to a different OBGYN and found out it was a skin tag like I originally had thought!! Another thing, every single time I was in her office she constantly was trying to push me to get an IUD. I have no real reason for one, and I have refused birth control for many many years. Eventually when I told her no for the 10th time, she asked what religion I am that causes me to not want birth control!!! I truly couldn’t believe it, I haven’t been back ever since and I’m terrified to try a different doctor."

"Seeing Dr. Amanda Davenport was the absolute worst OBGYN experience I have ever had. I was in the midst of my first pregnancy/miscarriage and had lots of questions about what was going on with my body. She was incredibly vague in her response and belittling in her attitude toward me. My husband witnessed the entire interaction and was appalled. I requested certain blood tests that I knew would be helpful (and they were), and she communicated that she didn’t even know what they were but wrote the order down perfectly on the paper she left on the table. Apparently, we were supposed to take the paper with us to the checkout, but she just left the room with no instructions. Her entire attitude toward my very vulnerable situation was cold. I don’t want her near me or any babies ever. She doesn’t come off as knowledgeable, caring, or safe - as you can see by the other reviews. Norton Clark needs to do an evaluation and really listen to the patient feedback here and on other sites."

"I waited 2 hours to be seen. She spent maybe 2 minutes with me. She said if I wanted any kind of an exam I would need to make a new appointment. This was horrible"

"Dr. Davenport made me feel so, so small for asking questions. I ended up crying because her attitude was JUST as dismissive as the OB in New Albany I tried to talk to. I came in to ask questions about their facilities, mentality towards child birth, midwives, pain management, what the protocol is in a total abortion ban state with significant complications, and to ask about birth injuries because the hospital settles out of court a lot which means injuries arent affiliated with the hospital. She told me I need to see a therapist if I have anxiety about complications. I'm sure my crying really validated that feeling. To be clear, I'm not upset by the answer. I'm upset by her dismissive attitude. I'm not sure what's wrong with the OBs In This area, I didn't experience this amount of belittling in Louisville. The questions I had are valid if I had no kids are 12. Shame on her."

"Seen doctor Davenport with first pregnancy. She was decent very straight to the point type of gal. In and out she definitely did make you confused and didn’t explain things all the way through. I honestly think it’s just her personality and comes off rude. Great doctor had a c section can’t even see the scar."
