"The office allows walk-in from 9-11am. So please plan to be there by 9am and carry all the documents original and copies. This will help to get things done faster. The folks here are helpful but are stressed. So bear with them. Ideally get there and get documentation in place and the government form. There is attorney in the building who can attest documents for a fee. Parking is paid and a bit tricky. Overall plan in advance read the documents needed online get copies of documents and attest them. And be ready to spend a few minutes to get things in order. Remember many folks walk in and might not have all the stuff needed and they will take up time."

"VFS global phone associate gave a bad advise on the visa application. Said use the track application option to upload photo and renunciation proof. The track application link would not go thru the security text code verification while using Chrome, firefox and edge browsers. So unable to upload any documents. Wasted almost $25 on the phone call. They charged $25 for two additional minutes above the free 5 min duration of the phone call. Websites states about $2.45 /min .This place is a complete ripoff. Visiting consulate sound better I think. Indian government should stop using vfs global. Very much disappointed with vfs. Now VFS will return the application after 21 days and refund only the visa fee. So again would lose additional $30 on fedex next day service. And now will have to submit a new application and go through the song and dance once again. I guess, I do not feel bad now on why they call India a 3rd world country. With this 4th world shotty service from an Indian phone associate and getting ripped off by their firm, why wouldn't I think that way. Just have to deal again, with this agonizing process to get a visa."

"This is the worst place hired by the Indian government hired to handle immigration applications. We applied for OCI early this month and never got any email from their side if we needed to submit extra documents. So, I checked on my status of application and found out they were asking for a slew of documents which I already submitted online as required. When you send the final documents they do not clarify which documents need to be sent along with the final application. They leave it to the applicant's discretion to maneuver on this application process with a lot of confusing steps in the process. Worst experience ever. It also adds that extra cash to their coffin when you call their customer service seeking for any help. I would recommend getting help from the professional who can navigate through their confusing process. Thugs in work."
