"My mom and I stayed at the inn the week of Thanksgiving and we were extremely impressed. The theme and decor were top notch, the room was SPOTLESS and the innkeepers were more than willing to accommodate us arriving prior to the check-in time. The breakfast brought to our room was incredible. I really felt that they went above and beyond by serving my two toddlers “kid-friendly” food. We have family in the area and we will definitely be staying here next time we’re in town."

"You guys have to go check this place out! It's just too cool! as usual traveling for work.. just by luck ran across this school that was converted into an INN! my 1st thought was "No way!" I booked a suite just because I had to see it! I'm so glad I did. the Innkeeper waited up for us. As I chatted with him on the phone to reserve the suite he suggested a restaurant in town to stop at before checking in. The Brickhouse Grille. it was good but we knew if we stopped we'd be a little later than the check in time. He was fine with that. when we checked in he walked us around a little bit to give us some of the history. just fantastic! I'm not going to tell.. you guys just have to go. opening the door into the suite so initially see those typical old school doors that lead outside.. to the right was the living/ sleeping area & to the left was the bathroom.. we were in a suite next to the gym! how fun! you guys go check it out!"

"Lyle and Tammy are excellent hosts. Great breakfast, unique rooms. There is now an excellent deck out back to gather with your traveling companions. Short walk downtown to restaurants and shops. Close to wineries, hiking trails, and other activities."

"Our stay at the Davie School Inn was nothing short of wonderful, from the uniquely decorated rooms, breakfast, to having a wonderful host. Each morning we were bought breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, especially the French toast, had to be one of our favorite breakfasts we had. Lyle and Tammy were so accommodating and made our stay all the better, they were very attentive to what we needed and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and wineries. We would recommended staying at the Davie School Inn, the town of Anna, IL was cute and the town was walking distance from the inn. We will be back and cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay, thank you Lyle and Tammy! There was also a back porch where I went to reach and as I read, hummingbirds were flying around, it was so beautiful. Great place to stay, eat, sleep, and drink wine!"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Davie School Inn! The room looked like a historic Presidential Suite. It had a lot of character, complete with antique furniture and many books about American history. The innkeepers, Lyle and Tammy, went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Their breakfasts were amazing, and Lyle had great recommendations for local sightseeing and restaurants. The only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 for location is that based on the pictures, I assumed the lot would be more spacious and private. Turns out the school is right in the middle of town, next to the city park and the train tracks. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!"
