"THEY ARE THE BEST!!! The soonest I could get my passport renewed was 28 days prior to departure, and I needed a student visa for December 11. My application & passport arrived at their office over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I was so worried that they would not process in time. At first, I was very stressed out and sent lots of emails/called daily with no response. But they were eventually responsive and reassured me that they were on top of it. I can see how it's frustrating when the lines are busy, but they are truly working diligently and hard for their clients. GRAZIE MILLEE!!"
"UPDATE: I received a response to my email, hopefully my application will be processed in time, thank you consulate! -------------------------------------------- My passport being held hostage! It has been more than 25 days that they received my passport. I have an international trip coming up soon and other urgent matters for which I need my passport. No updates whatsoever. I sent many emails explaining my situation but no response either. I called many times even in the time slot (2-3pm) they suggest for the visa applications. Again they don’t answer the phone calls, voice mail is also full. Such an unprofessional and bad experience with this consulate, one of the worst probably. Please answer my emails & phone calls and release my passport."
