"Hey Mr Bacon my name is Angela Girton I am Skylar Jackson’s grandmother I am pretty sure you’re aware of what’s going on with my granddaughter because we have left several messages but no call back in a timely manner your staff told us that your policy is to return a call within 24hrs well it’s been a few days and no response from you or anyone from your staff because this is a serious matter first of all Skylar has been wearing color braids in her hair since the beginning of the school year and no one has said anything not even her teacher who sees her everyday so why all of sudden the Principal does rounds and pulls Skylar out of class and then calls her mother being very unprofessional by telling my daughter that she is old enough to be her mother and also told my daughter she’s matching her energy and that she needed to come pick up Skylar and fix it and until she fix it she can’t come back now there’s a way to talk to people and your principal was being very rude my thing if that is your policy then your entire staff should know that policy but apparently they don’t because Skylar has been to school several times with pink, blue, and purple braids but no one has said anything until now so instead of pulling Skylar out of class a note or email should have been sent to her mom but that didn’t happen so at this point it seems to me that they are not worried about a childs education but what a child wears or have in their hair now that’s a bit ridiculous we pay our taxes for our children to get a good education but you guys are worried about what a child looks like just crazy and all schools should not be able to make their own policies it should be the same for all schools that’s something as the school Superintendent that needs to be looked into and revamped also the meeting my and my daughter had with Tonya Holt did not go to well because your principal was in the meeting being very sarcastic so I thought that we were in the meeting with her boss because no one introduced themselves so I asked him are you going to keep letting her sit here making these faces at us and laughing this is no laughing matter but anyway come to find out he’s just a counselor so nothing was resolved. I do hope that your principal is reprimanded for her actions which I now nothing is going to be done about it but I really think you all could care less nothing will probably happen to Tonya Holt but just know we’re not going to stop here because today my daughter sent Skylar to school with her hair up in a bun and a bow to cover up the color and was sent home again today now it’s getting ridiculous and still no phone call from you or your staff when we left messages saying this is a serious matter because now I think they’re just picking with her that is horrible if this was your child you wouldn’t want your child to be denied an education because of the color of his/her hair I mean what is this world coming to. I hope Skylar gets an apology for not being able to have an education cause of her hair I thought them days were over. Angela Girton"

"Never dealt with such uneducated people in my life... there bottom line is to not deal with problems but to sweep them under the rug with hope they go away... when they hire for any positions there its obvious a resume or any kind of college back ground isnt needed...if any one is thinking about coming to bullitt county thinking your kid will get a good education or be safe think again.... BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE PARENTS DONT DO IT !!!!!!!"
"They're too cheap with things."
