Reviews of Clearwater Farm
"If you are moved into 5308 Plank Drive, Apt 103, request a new room. You will live under the most ignorant, inconsiderate neighbors. They will be up at 4:00 A.M. on weekdays, talking loud and making noises. Even worse, on the weekends they will be up at 7:00 A.M., screaming at each other and letting their child run around and jump all over the room. We can’t relax when we come home from work and school because they let their child scream and run up and down the hallways ALL day nonstop. They’re constantly arguing and yelling at each other, not giving any consideration to their neighbors below. They’ve moved two new people in them without telling anybody, thus breaking their lease. This has been happening since 2022 and their behavior hasn’t improved. They are the most rude, inconsiderate people, and it would be wise not to live in this apartment. Sincerely, A very frustrated former resident who is glad they got out of there."
"I've only been living here for a month. I'm paying rent on an apartment that was clearly NOT "move in ready". The oven, ice maker, and dishwasher doesn't work. The dishwasher had "standing water" inside of it. 1 month later, its still there. The work order was put in before I moved in. I received a notification that the work order was completed. That was FALSE! - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings"
"I lived here for three years and overall it was a positive experience. I moved in at the height of the pandemic and the application process was straightforward. Being able to apply for a specific unit and having it on hold 3 months prior to moving was very convenient. At the time the leasing agent was very nice and even gifted me some kitchenware on my move-in day which was very sweet. What you’ll love: - SmartHome: Having a smart lock and digitally controlled thermostat. No more lost door keys or getting up in the middle of the night to turn the air down. - Large Floor Plans: Gonna miss my 15-ft ceilings especially during Christmas time. - Friendly and Quick Maintenance - Washer Dryer In Units - Competitive Pricing Decided to move to a community with more up to date apartment finishing an and amenities like garages, gym and clubhouse access but I would still recommend Clearwater for nice affordable living in that area."
"Just rented an apartment here and my experience so far has been negative. I just moved 4 days ago and there are tons of issues on my apartment. Used their online service to report these issues and just today they went to my apartment because I called. Whoever did the inspection before giving me the apartment didn’t pay any attention to details. Several outlets from my $1100+ 1 bedroom apartment don’t work., including a couple on the kitchen where I plug my cooking appliances. The kitchen sink was leaking, you have to pull the shower really strong in order to open it, and when you do, the lower portion keeps dropping water into the tub, the toilet takes for ever to fill the tank and sometimes it doesn’t even start to fill the tank unless you remove the top and manually move the assembly, the refrigerator from “1990” has a humming noise that is very loud at night. 1 lightbulb is dead in the dining area. On top of all this, maintenance was at my apartment today. I know because they leave a glove on it, even though they didn’t fix anything. All poles from the bathroom are barely attached to the walls. Very poor maintenance from this place. If you are ok with dropping $1100+ on a 1 bedroom apartment, I suggest you to look elsewhere. This is an honest review. There are tons of newer apartments in this area that will give you more bang for your buck. Very disappointed with my experience so far."
"I have been a resident at Clearwater since 2012, and my husband transferred from Ohio in and moved in, in 2011. We originally lived in a smaller apartment. We looked at other apartments, but we decided to stay here and move into a bigger apartment. We moved out of the smaller apartment in 2014. I am a very clean person, and we do our own steam cleaning of carpets. While my husband and son was moving our belongings to the other apartment, I was cleaning the apartment I was moving out of. I made sure I did a walk through with management, and took pictures. I also took pictures of my new apartment. There were some issues with the new apartment that were not seen with the walk through but were addressed and fixed. I have now lived in this apartment since 2014, 4 years! residents for 7 years! It is hard to believe, and it has flown by! I had great neighbors at the other apartment and great neighbors here with an occasional one that don't stick around long. My bestfriend, has turned out to be neighbor! I have gone through 3 owners, and I think 3 different managers. Mel has been manager twice. Maintenance is always very friendly, quick, and things get fixed usually the day you report it. I have called to have my mini-blinds replaced, and also slats in the living room blinds. If you call and have these things fixed, you do not get charged, but if they have to do it, then you will. Point is, KEEP YOUR APARTMENT UP! When the original owners built these apartments in 2008, they didn't think things through. They did not allow enough parking spots for each apartment, and the management won't do anything to solve the parking issue. I am disabled, and have a handicap placard so I now have a parking spot. ( I have several diseases that keep me from being able to walk very far without becoming dehydrated and exhausted. I can not lift heavy items and carry them especially for long distances. I have medical devices implanted that can come lose and cause complications and even death. With that being said, I have a handicap permanent placard. I chose it over a license plate so I can take it with me if I am in a vehicle with someone else, and I am planning to buy another vehicle. You can not remove a license plate from one vehicle to another. In the Unit I live, it isn't a handicap unit. There are no handicap spots. The manager told me to bring my paperwork in to get my handicap parking spot. I did just that last year. There are others that live in my complex that are handicapped and still don't park there. But, I have a neighbor that the rules have not applied to him or his wife since they have moved in. They have not called him and told him he needed to being in paperwork for another handicap parking spot. Maybe it's petty. But, it shows the lack of respect for other residents. I don't know if we will be renewing our lease. I am tired of rules only applying to certain people!) Mel was able to resolve my issue, and I am very happy with it. The other tenant was given the same option but chose against it. The rules were pushed on the tenant when he parked in my assigned handicap parking spot. Once again, I am pleased with Clearwater, not all staff. But, I am happy again!"
