"One desk clerk was available as multiple customers were waiting to check in. The outlets in the room do not allow for plugs to grip into."

"I don't normally write these things but here I felt compelled too. This place charges the highest "incidental" fee aka a security deposit of any hotel anywhere I have ever had to stay. Not only that for a hotel that was not 100% booked when I made my reservation or when I checked in they refused to honor my request for a top floor room, away from vending machines and the elevator. I was placed on the second floor in the middle of the hallway. The guest overhead either had a child or a great dane in the room because all night long all I heard was the pounding of the floor. Then another neighbor played their TV so loud I didn't need to be in the room to know what was happening. Finally, the last time I stayed in this particular hotel the elevator went out. Guess what still has not been fixed yet, yup the elevator and it broke over a month ago. As the saying goes: 1st times on you, second times on me. There won't be a third."

"The building needs a lot of work. They Comfort side is in better shape than the MainStay side. The AC in the hallways did not work so it was very humid and there was a foul smell. The room was nice and the hot breakfast was great."

"The rooms are spacious and well equipped with complete kitchen and kitchen supplies., But they are not well cleaned. The room does not smell bad but the floors and carpets look dirty. We found a dead cockroach on top of the AC unit."

"I should know that you get what you pay for but the reviews led me to believe differently. Well here is my experience…we were there for 6 nights and after eating I needed to do dishes. Not finding any dishwasher soap I went to the front desk to ask for some. They didn’t have any but after voicing my displeasure she went in the back and found me some. Started the dishwasher and took a shower only to come out and found the kitchen floor covered in water. I ended up buying dish soap from them to hand wash the dishes. The coffee pot spewed water all over everything except in my cup and there was not any extra toilet paper in the bathroom. This place needs some major TLC and a good cleaning. The carpets everywhere were visibly very dirty. The picture is of the vent in our bathroom and the pool area with grass growing up in between the bricks. I have to say the gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She offered to send a maintenance man up to fix everything but at this point I really didn’t want to deal with it."
