"If you like horses, this is a great place, lots of indoor and outdoor activities, horse rides for kids, etc. Check the calendar for equestrian events at the arena. We go out there to fish in their stocked lake."
"Absolutely stunning facilities! Clean and well maintained stable area. Arenas are world class and dragged frequently. The grounds and horse paths are beautiful and you can ride for what seems like ever! I will absolutely be back to show here or even just visit. All resident horses are in great shape and well groomed and fed. Loved my time here for Thoroughbred Makeover."
"This is a great value. A 20 dollar ticket is good for two days and theres a ton to see. You can go to the Smithsonian Museum of the Horse, which has so much information and exhibits You can see the American Saddlebred museum, which is small but still nice. You can tiur the barns, take a trolley, pet a few horses, see demonstrations like the parade of breeds."
"Great value for a tour. $20 admission is good for multiple days, which you will need to see everything the park offers. This includes riding a draft horse trolley, meeting retired thoroughbreds (Funny Cide is currently in residence, among others) or having a little quality time with the draft horses and their barn cat, Hans. The museums are well curated and informational, the campground is lovely and very close to the workout pasture, and the two restaurants serve great food."
"If you really, really like horses...this is the place. Very clean and well kept. The shows are interesting and the trail riding is enjoyable. There isn't many places to get water or food...so plan accordingly. Wear comfortable shoes. You'll be in the sun most of your visit. Plan to spend 4 or more hours if you want to see all the shows and tour the grounds and exhibits. My only complaint is the gift shop...everything is extremely overpriced...and that took one star away from this review. Spending almost $30 for a t-shirt or $50 for a long sleeve woman's night shirt is a lot considering the merchandise. Everything from fudge to model horses, clothes, bags, jewellery, mementos, is very highly priced. And there are no discounts (military or otherwise) offered."
