"Was new to the area and wanted to find a place to meet people to talk all things “nerd.” Cody and the manager, Bethany (sorry if it’s spelt differently) instantly became my go-tos when it came to anything related to table top hobbies. I would argue this is the best gaming locale in Lexington region for MTG, or other hobbies purely because of those two."

"This place is way worse than the other TTD cards and I'm not sure why they have that name since Alex doesn't own it. The woman who works here and owns it (Bethany) is very rude and not friendly at all. She has favorite customers who she will chat and joke with and she is rude to my female friend who comes with me sometimes to play. Surprised that she is rude to other women in a game that doesn't have a lot of women players. A lot of the "regulars" playing magic (commander) are also rude guys who are not welcoming or friendly to new people. The store is small and never changes in appearance inside. They could do some displays or decorating, it looks like a church meeting room with old tables and squeaky chairs. Two stars because the prices and selection are decent for a smaller store. I'll make the drive to Louisville orLexington. Not worth the rudeness."

"I just recently got into magic even though I had wanted to play since the 90s. So, I have several questions and don't know a lot about paper magic since I only play arena. I have gone to this store 3 times now. including the prerelease for the current set and last night's casual commander which I brought friend too that is also just getting into the game. All I have to say is the lady that has works there is very rude and will not help you at all. She seems to have a handful of customers that she's close with but aside from that she acts like you're wasting her time anytime you ask her question. I go in there pretty much saying take my money but her garbage attitude to customers has made me decided to take my business elsewhere. My friend that is also new ask her about a card and what it did and was curious if she knew what the name of the was, her response was "it would probably be better if you knew the name of the card you were looking for". I honestly hope this store shuts down so ppl don't have to experience this when getting into this very expensive hobby. Dude that works there is cool though."

"Don’t take kids to this store, a heavy set lady who works here treats kids and paying customers very poorly. She also lies and says no refunds are stated at time of purchase. When I purchased a starter kit of D&D for my 10 yr old no one told me that returns weren’t accepted , she then retracted her previous statement and said we do accept returns when she knew she wasn’t the one who had checked me out initially. Honesty, integrity and character of associate is lacking. The guy who works here was very nice and professional, she could take notes. The good thing is we have options to purchase what they sell, and therefore will never be returning."
