"I enjoy coming here to release my vocals lol. They have a nice pull table and patio out back. Very chill area to smoke and talk. The bartenders are sweet and lively. The kareoke host is AMAZING. He has ALL the songs you can think of. You have to buy a drink of some kind to get slips to sign up. Also, GET IN EARLY!!!! there are only a handful of spectators. Everyone there sings! Enjoy yourself! P.s: no food."

"The atmosphere is cool but it gets pretty crowded and you can end up waiting a long time to sing. You can pick any song and the DJs are great. The bartenders are pretty quick, but not exactly the friendliest. Their cocktails are served in really small glasses for the price. They have one pool table and there's not a lot of space to shoot when it's crowded. You have to get people to move out of your way. They always check ID, make sure you don't forget yours! I give them 4 stars because I feel like it's a good place to go and enjoy yourself even if they're busy."

"Wow this place is the absolute worst, I left my card for a tab and they took 20$ in tips without even asking. For context I literally spent 30$ on two drinks and a shot so it makes no sense. They also don't have food and they don't have anywhere near enough room. Save your money and go to Big bar."

"I visited Akikos’s karaoke bar last Friday with a few of my friends, and we had a great time, the drinks were very good, and the price was excellent. The place was jam packed, they had a lot of very talented singers there, and they sang like a pro. I sang one song after waiting for over an hour, but while I waited for the song, I got to dance the whole time till my turn to sing. I normally go there on weeknights and I always have so much fun there, and I can sing many songs without much of a wait, but even some weeknights can get very busy, the weekend has always been very crowded, it was my only third time visiting on a weekend, which is why I prefer to go there on weeknights, since I like to sing a lots of songs and it's less crowded than compared to the weekends. I read many people complaining for too long of a wait, and being unable to sing, but I can see why? The DJ only can play 12 songs in an hour, but at Akiko's they can have over a hundred people requesting to sing. I've been to many other karaoke places, and there are many places that you can sing without much of a wait, but those places don't have as many people, and are kinda boring to sing at when you are the only one singing, or with only a few people in the audience to show off your talent. You can sing more at Akiko's if you come earlier, like when the doors are open at 9pm, but after 11pm, they start to get packed very quickly especially on weekends, but the weeknights are much less crowded, and you can sing with much less wait time. Overall Akiko’s is very fun and has an excellent vibe, so everyone can enjoy the night out. I can't wait for my next visit. If you are looking for karaoke or just want to have a fun time, then Akiko's is the right place to go."
