"Was here 6/30/21 to launch my pontoon. I have an old 24' from the 80s. I asked the attendant /employee if the creek /river was deep /wide enough for my boat. He seemed very familiar with the area /path to the Ohio River and he suggested staying away from the shallow end (inside of the bank before hitting the Ohio). Anyway, great guy, good service, but he forgot to mention that the ramp is short. My trailer fell off the ramp (assuming river bottom /dirt /maybe more concrete) and almost tipped my boat over. The tail light got bent (just installed new ones last month and now need to replace /bend back). Again, the attendant was friendly and knowledgeable. Maybe he forgot to mention the length of the ramp, maybe I should have mentioned I have a 24 footer. We didn't sink and it was 5 bucks so I'm not complaining (too much ha) . Area seems laid back, friendly people, restaurant /outdoor type of bar next door, the marina seemed to have anything you would need and more, fuel (I brought my own so I didn't really pay attention to what they had). 4 stars"
