"They require 4x to 5x the rent. If I made $6000 a month I wouldn't be renting from an apartment complex to begin with. Ironically, a bank won't require this for an equivalent mortgage. It's not about worrying that you won't pay rent or to protect the landlord, its to keep lower earning clientele out and maintain a perceived higher status. I.e. keep the working-class out by simply requiring tenants to be higher earners, then charge above market rent for being perceived as "nicer." The lack of affordable housing in Oldham County is already a major issue and corporations like this aren't helping the issue by requiring 4 to 5x the rent. Makes me wonder how some of the other tenants got approved. Is section 8 allowed so Crestwood Commons legally has to accept the applicants? I don't get it. If you are employed full-time with good credit that's not enough for these people. It was a pleasure NOT doing business with this "luxurious" apartment complex."

The apartments themselves are clean and modern with beautiful scenery of trees and horse farms. 10/10 I would recommend this quiet tucked away community to anyone. The main lobby is another standout feature of this apartment complex. Its inviting ambiance is the perfect welcome after a long day.
