Days Inn by Wyndham El Paso Airport East

"Pros: the maintenance crew is very responsive and the location was convenient to what we needed. The rooms were decent and the facility is being renovated. The parking is free and adequate and the grounds were clean. Cons: "Free breakfast" is almost non-existent, even if you are in the middle of the posted hours. A worse thing, though, is that my significant other had gotten sick from food poisoning somewhere else and made a mess in the bathroom; the cleaning staff (with the support of management) were going to refuse to clean and disinfect the room because it "wasn't the right day yet" for this room to be cleaned, and told her that she would have to do it herself. We did prevail in getting them to do it (and they did it well) but then she was told that she was no longer welcome at this hotel. I expect better than this, even from a two-star hotel."

"So I've recently stayed at this location and honestly it's probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms have been newly renovated, stores in walking distances which was perfect since we flew into town. The staff was very professional, but we would certainly like to thank a young gentleman that worked around the clock named Andrew for helping us with everything throughout our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone."

"Cheap rates with a great and fun staff. Very understanding managers and good hearted as well. Renovated rooms and grounds. One of the best places for a short stay or long one, depending on your situation. Whatever it may be. Morning coffee is great."

"Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Upon entering, the room was newly renovated and smelled somewhat pleasant until the person or people in the next room started smoking weed and then smoke/smell came wafting over and stunk up my entire room. The bed sheets were clean, but the mattress was probably the hardest mattress in any hotel I've ever stayed at. The mattresses comfortably is probably just a notch above sleeping on the floor. None of the lights worked in the bedroom. There were roaches in the bathroom. Some were alive and running around, and some were laying dead that you could see up in the ceiling light cover. Unfortunately I didn't read any of the reviews before booking the room, and now I see that cockroaches have been commonly reported by people in their reviews for years and I also see the management is aware of what's going on here and they just keep apologizing for it. Not even sure if they're actually addressing it but oh well. I'm just passing through, but hopefully someone will read this and the reviews and decide to stay somewhere else...just like I wish that I did."
