"My daughter came to her love of dance late. She didn't start really dancing until she was 12. She believed she wanted the "competition" dance, and we tried it for a few years. Dozens of costume fees, recital costumes, competition fees, private lesson fees, class fees ... It makes me sweat thinking about it! The best thing that ever happened to her was leaving competition behind and starting dance with Lexington Ballet. Yes - it's “only” ballet. But ballet is the basis for all other dance. Lexington Ballet encourages Master classes in other disciplines and offers plenty of opportunities. Last year they brought Alvin Ailey dance from New York for a modern class and an audition for summer intensive. Because of Lexington Ballet instruction to prepare her, my daughter received a FULL scholarship to attend a 6 week intensive in NYC this past summer. Every instructor at Lexington Ballet is a current professional or has been a professional dancer. Luis (the artistic director) and Nancy (the school director) Dominguez could phone it in and have others teach. But their dedication to their dancers and Lexington Ballet is unparalleled. Nancy has made herself available to assist my daughter with auditions preparation and not wanted compensation. How many dance teachers would require payment for an hour with a student? All that I worked with before LBC. I'm sad we didn't start with Lexington Ballet Company. But I'm so glad we are there NOW!"

"If I could give this company zero stars I would! Do not enroll your child in this program! The "instructors" are NOT interested in teaching their students & would rather demean and humiliate children than do their job! Your complaints or concerns will go unheard and unresolved, from top to bottom this company is inept!"
