"Favorite campground on our bike trip through LBL! The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. We had a beautiful lakeside view and the campground was quiet overnight. We did spot a little skunk visitor in the morning but it was very cute and didn't seem to bother anything!"
"One of the best campground I stayed. The breeze from the lake is relaxing; didn’t find any bugs to bite, the lady in the check in was very courteous and changed our campsite on our request. Would be my favorite campground to come back"
"Pulled in after 7 hrs of driving. The fire pit was full of trash and trash scattered throughout the site. The camp host was not helpful said the cleaning up crew left. I asked if he could come clean it, he said nope. Asked for a trash bag the said don’t have one. Wasn’t helpful at all. After he closed his window he screamed out a few cuss words. No one else was in there. Pictures do not show how bad it really is. Found a Knife blade, darts and tent stakes. Such a hazard for dogs and kids that a host should have made sure things are safe. We always clean up extra for those that left a few things but this is ridiculous. What did we do? cleaned it up in 95 degree weather and burned it which is what the host said do. Most campgrounds don’t allow burning trash (illegal) but did what the host said. This is our second time here and I’m not sure we will be back. Site 16 August 24,2023"
"Can’t say enough about this place. I stayed in a tent on site 6 overlooking the water. The people checking in were great , the facilities were very nice and everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. Will definitely be back !!"
"We drove through this campground, trying to spot check where we might want to stay in the future. Nice front office lady, gave us a detailed map indicating full hookups or not. Variety of short or longer lots to choose from. They are booked, so a reservation is required maybe months ahead of time. Most lots are close together, some water views, most not. Woodsy area, lots of shade. Many many boats and fishermen. Special parking lot for boats, trailers, overflow vehicles. Picnic tables."
