"What an amazing facility. The teachers are so good at what they do, and the center is always clean. My son is always so excited to go to daycare and he always leaves with a smile on his face. Mrs. Hilda, the Director, is always warm and welcoming, and my son always runs to her and gives her the biggest hug. If I could give this center more than 5 stars, I would. Finding a quality daycare is so hard these days, but I am glad to have found one that takes such great care of my child."
"This place is amazing, the last daycare I had my child in told me my child was too much to handle and I thought I was going to move daycares for the rest of her life. This daycare not only reassure me but made it feel like a second home for my child. She started talking in sentences here, learned to potty train, and learned how to understand her big emotions. The staff here always make my child and me feel seen and welcome every day we are there. The only regret I have is not coming to this daycare from the beginning. If you're worried to leave your child with a daycare, if you are a first-time mom andyour struggling with that separation and understanding of your child and who they are uniquely this is the place to come. They don't just help your child become amazing people they also are there to help the parents better understand their child and answer any questions you may have. Can't say it enough how much I love this place."
"I’m so pleased to have found this place! My daughter has been attending for summer care and she loves it. The staff members are always very attentive and kind. I’ve been a working mom since my child was born and she has attended many childcare facilities. This is one of the best places we have found in San Antonio. It is comforting to know that my child wants to be at daycare because she enjoys her time there. In the past it has been difficult to leave my child in childcare facilities because she’s never quit been comfortable. I’m truly grateful to the staff for making my daughter feel welcome and safe."
"Please think twice before you send your child here! Our 2 yr old was extremely neglected and we pulled him out of care on the 2nd day!!! Owner (Aaron?) has still never contacted us. I worked in daycares with all ages and as a private nanny for over 15 years. I have a degree in Child and Family Development. I'm not trying to be nasty and I understand things happen. They were apologetic and kind when we brought issues up. They disciplined and supposedly provided additional training. However, too many things happen/don't happen here. I'm angry, betrayed by people I trusted, and hurt for my child. This was his first time in childcare. I don't buy Assistant director Savannah telling us "it's just so hard to change kids standing up in the 3s room", when 1. The director said she thought the 3s room would be great for him (he's almost 3), that she thought he was ready, and assured us that they would be able to still assist in potty training him, and 2. I've done it before myself, for years, and the kids didn't get sent home looking like that! He was bleeding from the worst rash he's ever had in his life. We had brought so many pairs of extra shorts and he was sent home in the same ones we dropped him in- they were soiled and smelled. I have no idea how long he sat in it, but he came home bright red and blistered, having been very poorly wiped. He now has negative reactions to the phrase "potty training" and the word "teacher", gets upset and yells "No teacher no teacher no teacher!!!" and has told us she was nice, but was "mean" to him about the potty. He has expressed she didn't yell at him, but did yell at the other kids for not listening. They played a PG13 movie for toddlers (Avatar.) They give excuse after excuse and then say "but that's no excuse". Director Hilda told my wife the 3s teacher "took for granted and assumed he would tell her like the other kids do" (so, it's my toddler's fault for not taking care of himself?) It took days to heal physically and we are still working on undoing what was done to him mentally regarding potty training- even though we had taken extra steps including keeping him home and delaying starting an extra week to work with him and ensure that he was close to being fully potty trained at home when he started. We sent sunscreen and bug spray and signed a permission slip that they provided in enrollment forms asking both be used. Neither were used nor even had been opened yet. He had bug bites all over, he gets bad reactions to mosquito bites. I feel if the teacher can't handle a class that's under ratio what would it be like when at full capacity? Furthermore, the director didn't tell us she would be out on vacation the week he would be starting (we were in and spoke with her multiple times the week prior), and it's concerning to me the assistant director didn't know about the things going on. She shouldn't have to babysit the teachers, but also why was she so unaware in such a small facility, and alone up front when director is out? Hilda, you've already reached out to my wife and told her I can call you and "scream at" you, but instead you should prepare for a visit from licensing."
"I was going to put my children in this daycare but I've changed my mind. The front entrance of this facility looked disgusting. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned for months. Finger prints are all over their nasty glass door. Also, the water of their aquarium is nasty. I can't even see fish in it. I sooo want to report this daycare to the state for they've(staffs) already in violation for NOT keeping this place CLEAN but that's the parents job. I feel bad for the children who goes here."
