Reviews of Southern Pre-School Childcare
"They are great with My kids, my kids enjoy going there"
"This place is awful! My 2 year old son was injured repeatedly. Never got an incident report. When I asked for that they shunned us. They kicked my kids out because I demanded to know why he was injured. My 5 year old was ill and vomiting, no one called to inform us. The doors don’t lock, or even latch. The attached apartments are loaded with creeps. Not a safe environment at all."
"If you do decide to take your child here you need to have other people that can pick them up at different times, In otherwords show up unexpectedly to see what goes on!"
"My husband's two children go there ages 6 and 7 they are very neglectful they tried to say that the seven-year-old use the n-word which is not true it did not happen it just so happened that the only teacher that heard them was the only African-American teacher in the morning which now she is saying that he is bullying her one-year-old child who is there first thing in the morning which she's the only teacher there the seven-year-old is not a bad child he is not a violent child he's never hurt a kid or small kid he has a 9 month old baby sister that he is great with and he also has a six-year-old sister never once has he done anything harmful to any of them when we asked to have them separated the director yelled at my husband over the phone it basically continuously blaming my husband and or his child for what was happening my husband asked if they could be separated or kept apart and she said no you can just take your kid to school in the morning instead of dropping him off at the daycare we feel like the teacher is picking on the seven-year-old and is trying to make it look like the seven-year-old is violent and or a racist at 7 years of age which is not true something needs to be done these teachers can do no wrong apparently according to the director and he complained that you may or may not have with the director about any of the teachers she yells at you when you're the one who is paying for your children to be there she blames the parents for her neglectful disrespectful teachers again something needs to happen the little boy is 1 1/2 which is understandable for that child not to really know better so he tries to climb on and be a part of what's going on with the other kids all we were asking is that someone control that child and just keep him away from my child my child does not realize that he's being rough this child climbing on him and he's trying to get the child off of him and the child fell and hit the ground and they said he body slam the child then later on the teacher said that although it's okay they can be around each other just not pick him up my kid never pick them up and I feel like no they cannot be around each other if you're saying that my child is abusing a 1 year old you need to keep that one-year-old away from my child simple as that which it's not happening and the only witness to it is the mother of the child who is trying to say that the seven-year-old is the one who's abusing her child which it's not true"
"If you thinking of enrolling your baby don't do it because your baby can't tell you if they are being mistreated and neglected which is what happened to my 8 months old baby. I dropped him of at 8 in the morning by the time I came back to pick him up both his butt cheecks looked like it was peeled of by a potato peeler. Blood was oozing out. The girl (Morgan) who was watching my son explained that it was because my son was pooping all day and it happened from changing his diaper. I've been putting ointment on it and it wasn't healing fast enough. I took him to the doctor's office and that's when the doctor explained to me that it's because he had diarrhea and the acid from the diarrhea burn his cheeks from not having his diaper changed. He also ended up having a yeast infection from the moisture. It looks so painful. I've been going to this daycare since 2016 and it was a good fit. I stayed with them for that long because I couldn't afford anywhere else. I now realized how big of a mistake it was to stay. Management can't handle conflict. When I spoke to Management they assured me that they would move Morgan out of the baby room, but they moved her to my 2 years old son's room instead. I told them I didn't want her around my kids. The manager Sheila said I would need to pick him at specific time if I didn't want her alone with my son. I move them to another daycare. The manager Sheila didn't even try to apologize or investigate the situation. As a matter of fact, when I went to get my babies belonging Morgan was back in the babies room. There's been other incidents but any time I would confront them about a situation they always have a way of making you feel like you paranoid and that it's all in your head. They may call for natural illnesses but other incident like bleeding and falling down no one will call to inform you. I usually find these things out at pick. They are some good teachers there but Management (Sheila) is deceitful and cunning. She will seem the most nicest person but be careful. I feel sorry for the babies. I've a lot of rumors about the place but I finally experienced it myself which why I took the time to make the post to warn people so what happened to my son doesn't happen to anyone else. It's sad that no one took the time to tell others what they went through attending Southern Preschool."
