Comfort Inn & Suites 1001 Paige Place, La Grange, KY 40031

"I stayed at this hotel Friday night and Saturday night. When I woke up, I was ate up by bed bugs. They was on my pillow and bed. I checked night before but didn’t really see any but it was so late. Anyway I went down that morning to complain and they moved me to another room. Everything was booked up so couldn’t move to a new hotel. Management wasn’t in. I reached out to choice hotel and they refuse to give me a refund. Let alone I am covered in bites. I had to throw my suitcase away, threw my clothes away. All I asked is for a refund but will definitely be reaching out to my lawyer. Listed in the pics are the photos I woke up with and there are more pictures I didn’t post"

"Staff was really friendly and helpful! Carpet of our room was wet in two areas when we checked in (we didn't know, stepped in and got wet socks.) Bath/shower had only luke warm water (2 days, not isolated event) but the sink water was steaming hot. We had to transfer water from sink to the tub just to warm it up. Some blood stains on the bedding. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Toast, apples, yogurt, cold/hot cereal."

"We had a room with a king bed and liked that there were a variety of pillows with different firmness so we could each have something that matches our preferences. The room was spacious and while some of the furnishings betrayed their age, things were clean and in good working condition. One of the bedside tables had a USB outlet, so that was a nice update. The breakfast is pretty good value, with several hot and cold options. One weird thing was that the toilet wouldn't finish flushing, and when jiggling the handle failed, I checked the tank and there was a bar of soap inside preventing it from refilling all the way. It was easy to fix myself, but I have no idea how that happens."

"ALL COMFORT INN & SUITES ARE NOT CREATED EQUALLY. We stayed at a Comfort Inn in Arkansas south of Hot Springs, it was lovely. So when we headed north on our cross country move, we were so excited to see a Comfort Inn in our vicinity since they are PET FRIENDLY. I requested a King and they said they were booked for the night. There were about 5 cars in the parking lot. They offered the jacuzzi king suite instead. Okay, whatever. Pretty sure they were just upselling. Upon first entry into the hotel, there are garbage cans overflowing. The recycling bin had TRASH overflowing out of it. Going down the hall to our room, there's a broken fridge in the corner and another bag of trash. This place felt like a condemned hotel that was bought up by Comfort Inn. Our room had leak stains on the ceiling, the floor was dirty and it smelled like mildew. I could go on and on but I would NEVER stay here again. The price would be too expensive for what you get. The staff was nice, I guess."

"Great stay, the rooms were clean and met all of my needs. The maintenance of the rooms was perfect. Susan was the lady at the front desk she was absolutely wonderful. Very kind and compassionate to her guests. I give her a 10 star review out of 5."
