"After finally making the decision to see a primary care provider, I chose Kim Sowden based on a friends opinion whom I trust. However, I was completely appauled the day of my 10:30am appointment when I received a phone call at 10:15, stating I HAVE to reschedule because I was supposed to be there at 10:00am. I told the secretary I was literally out in the parking lot. She proceeded to tell me that Kim insisted I reschedule since she was the only provider available today. My husband rescheduled his days at work to watch our baby and I had drove over 30minutes that morning to see this provider. I'm glad I switched to the Baptist Primary Medical group, they fit me right in and were extremely nice. The providers are always available when you need them. As a health care provider myself, it's a shame that we tend to neglect ourselves and when we finally make an attempt to do something for ourselves, these types of issues have to get in the way. If you expect to see a patient 30 minutes prior to an appointment, why not make the appointment for that time? Or when you call a day ahead as a reminder, why not remind the patient to come 30mins early? Give me a break."
