"On my first appointment I was actually impressed with my interactions with the nurse practitioner that I saw and the doctor that she called in to get his input. On my second appointment they had me see a different doctor and that Doctor who was a psychiatrist was in my opinion an absolute quack, an embarrassment to the profession. The second doctor appeared more interested in arranging for me to have treatments that were astronomically expensive and that even though I had tried those treatments before and they did not work, it appeared irrelevant to the psychiatrist that we would be doing the same procedure I had already had without any benefits. The first visit was great but the second visit made me feel like they were just looking for creative ways to charge my insurance astronomical fees. I was specifically looking for ketamine infusions and I had more than a dozen medical professionals, psychiatrists giving me a diagnosis that qualified me for the ketamine infusions but wellward seems to be making things more complicated than they needed to be."
"As someone who has suffered with chronic knee pain for almost half of my life, I can’t express my gratitude enough. God led me to Wellward Regenerative Medicine after I previously tried many other approaches that failed. Doctors Escaloni and Danesh were very generous with their time and their willingness to help me. It took a year and a half with a lot of trial and error, but we have most of this figured out. I am almost completely pain-free most days! More importantly, I’m more structurally sound and am regaining normal function. When I started with them I was in so much pain initially that I couldn’t even do the rehab that was prescribed. I still have work ahead of me and that’s OK…healing is a process. I had multiple small tears and many adhesions but surgery wasn’t an option in my mind. I thank God for where I am today and I wouldn’t have made this progress if He didn’t put on a path to Wellward Regenerative Medicine."
"Wellward has helped my pain tremendously. I have been able to be more active and enjoy life more because of the decrease in pain. Dr. Danesh, Dr, Ethridge and James, the PT, are always friendly and compassionate. They will sit, listen to you without feeling rushed. I would and have recommended Wellward to several colleagues, friends and family that struggle with pain."
"I had my first appointment with Jeanie Wilkins today and she was fabulous. She was very thorough in explaining everything, asked my input on what I would like to do, and suggested options for an issue no one else has been able to help me with for the last 9 years. She was also incredibly validating and kind. I’m very excited to continue working with her."
"I moved from Louisville to Lexington august 2022. I have been a patient of this facility since. The first 5 months where positive! Testing mostly to target my specific pain points. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, so there are a lot of pain points in my body. Triggerpoint injections, epidural, injections, nerve block, injections, and acupuncture in my spine and shoulders! My doctors truly cared as they listened to me during all this process of diagnosis. Everything was going great until 2023 January 1 when they changed my doctor and I have seen a different doctor every visit since. I have only had one bad experience where one of the staff complained about my language and I was reprimanded by the office manager, as if I were a child disrupting class in grade school! It was very demeaning. However, after I had complained about this episode, I was given a call at my home from the office manager that had reprimanded me. We actually had a very good conversation where I was able to express my feelings. I feel like the office manager understood me and the other patients a little better after this conversation as I understand them a little better. These are young doctors with new innovative techniques to manage pain. I have nothing negative to say about their process! I feel like the front staff needs to be a little more diligent. I have been waiting for three weeks for them to call me to set appointments that the doctor had ordered. All in all, these people are way better than the Louisville clinics by far! The doctors do listen and seem to genuinely care about me as an individual and not just a dollar $ sign! Thank you for that! The Big Question:” would I recommend these people to someone with chronic pain?” Absolutely 100% yes! I have been to several pain management facilities in my past! Let’s just say these people run circles around everyone else I have experienced!"
