"Everyone was great I don’t like that they only stock expensive lenses and you don’t get same day service that is advertised unless u can afford to spend large amounts on glasses which not many can do nowadays. When I made the appointment I soecifically mentioned I wanted same day glasses and they never mentioned this and failed to tell me I wouldn’t be getting them till next day as the appointment wasn’t till five ish the specific doctor and tech who helped me order glasses were wonderful though and explained things clearly unfortunately I have to drive 65 miles one way again just to pick them up tomorrow communication and listening needs to be taught to those making appointments and answering questions."
"Everyone at FEC is very kind and knowledgeable. Appointment was quick and efficient. Finding glasses was easy with LensCrafters right next door!"
"Appointment was on time. I did visit the store for new lenses and frames. The experience was smooth and not high pressure. Associate excepted my coupons and answered all ok my concerns. I was in and out in minimal time. Thanks!"
"Dr. Bell is an excellent doctor , he took his time and was very laid back making sure that I was very comfortable with his work . I would highly recommend him to anyone . The staff was also very friendly and helpful , I can tell that I know about a good eye doctor for I have worked in the eye surgery business for 44 years ."
"I am an adult that has had 2 eye exams in my lifetime. I have not actively worn glasses and so I am unfamiliar with the machines, processes and procedures of an eye exam. When I arrived and was checked in, an employee said I could follow them down the hall...in complete silence...I was told I could sit in a chair at the first machine. I sit. I was told to put my chin in the piece of the first machine. No explanation of what the machine does or how to properly put my face in this contraption. Still silence. I ask, "So what does this machine do?" I get a brief description, then they see that my forehead isn't against the piece of the machine. I had no idea it was supposed to be and when I moved my head forward, I had to say that it needed to be adjusted because it was too tall. No action on the employee to explain in the first place or adjust it before the test began. Silence. Time for second machine. At least I knew now where to put my head. Again, no explanation of anything and I asked, "So what does this machine do?". Again, brief description. That machine is finished, and we move to the exam room. There have been no questions about what brought me in, any concerns or small talk at all. Just Dr will be in shortly. Dr came in quickly, was very nice and answered questions and explained everything well. Exam is over, I head to the front desk again where they tell me my copay and I pay it. I am handed my prescription and have to ask what I do next. I walk through the door into the frames area and someone in a chair says they can take my form and where the ladies frames are. I am given a tray and told they will be with me momentarily. I awkwardly walk around looking at frames having no idea what I am looking at or for. After about 20 minutes of wandering around I decided to go get my prescription form back and take it somewhere else at another time. Communication is not a strong point of this office! I later received an email with a set appointment for a year out. I didn't set an appointment. I was not asked about setting an appointment. But I have an appointment. Dr was nice. Dr was knowledgeable. Dr was the one bright spot in this visit, but I won't be back, and I will not be recommending anyone else to go. I never write bad reviews and even feel guilty in doing so, but I work in customer service, and I know what a good customer experience is. This was not a good customer experience and without being told, you do not know what your customer is experiencing. I wish you success. But I recommend some customer service training and some injection of personality and welcoming customer service into the office."
