About Us
The SHARE Center, located at 572 Georgetown Street in Lexington, Kentucky, is a community institution dedicated to eliminating hunger and promoting health and wellness. We offer weekly meals and operate a community food bank providing essential food items free of charge. In addition, our all-volunteer medical team provides a range of free health services to support the well-being of our community members.
In addition to addressing immediate needs, the SHARE Center is committed to fostering long-term economic independence through adult education and job placement services. Over the past 5 years, we have expanded our programs to include a free clinic, clothing bank, and weekly free lunch program.
Our operating hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. We are closed on weekends. To learn more about our services and how you can get involved, please visit our website or contact us directly.

"Share Center has been the hub for people in need. The place offers assistance with finding jobs, choosing apparel as per one's job requirements, regular clothing non-perishable food items, children's clothing and so on. Many doctors and dentists take out a couple of hours every second and fourth Saturday to monitor health issues of those who have no insurance or have less or no ability to pay."
"just wanted to send a big THANK YOU to the Share lexington program especially sister saburah. Alhamdulillah (all praise due to Allah) only Allah knows how much you’ve helped this big family. Thank you for what you provided for me and my family externally."
""When I was hungry you gave us something to eat. When we thirst you gave us drink." Thank you this pantry is amazing. God bless everyone in association. Were a big family and it gets rough but God always has a Ram in the bush and people to look out for his own."
"I am beyond grateful for the Share Center. I recently experienced some hardships and was in desperate need for food for my family. I was overwhelmed by how much food they provided to me. Thank you to the nice woman and the other 2 nice men who helped me load it into my car."
"My own experience was wonderful, I called and got right in, the nice lady that's in charge was very nice, polite, and most important she was respectful and made sure my family had plenty to eat. I recommend going to her if you are in need. SHE ACTUALLY CARES"
