"My daughter reported all over body pain during her pregnancy, Dr Med Poe told her that it's normal to be miserable during pregnancy. So her pain was ignored as well as her increasing blood pressure and edema, from 8/30 to 9/27 she gained 11 pounds. She took a picture of her plus 4 edema and tried to show it to Dr. Murrey only to be dismissed, the doctor wouldn't even look at it. Finally she saw Dr Grant and was taken seriously and cared about, lab work and symptoms were reviewed. The next week my daughter went in to early labor, she worked the day before and leaked amniotic fluid all day. Point is she had a post partum hemmorhage that should have been prevented, she lost 2.5 litres of blood post partum, had to get blood transfusion and IV magnesium for post partum pre eclampsia, obviously the pre eclampsia that went undiagnosed and un treated during her prenatal care contributed / caused this hemmorage, I thought we were going to lose her. The only Dr on this group that I would recommend is Dr Grant."
"I have seen Kate Harris for years and she's been fantastic. I did have Rachel Saunders do a procedure a few years ago and she was very kind and professional. However, I had an issue a few years ago and could not get in with Kate or Rachel, so they worked me in with one of the male providers. I tried explaining to him what the problem was and the solution. I was ignored and he sent me home with no solution saying to call back in 2 weeks if no improvement. I called back because the issue was still going strong, got back in and he ended up doing exactly what I said to begin with. Not sure that I'd see any provider other than Kate or Rachel."
"Either the front desk staff that manages patient scheduling are absolutely incompetent, or the patient scheduling system is completely unreliable and trash. Leaning toward the front desk staff being absolutely incompetent because all are rude as hell every single appointment over dozens of appointments, both when we arrive and when we leave. Not once, not twice, not three times - over and over again, we are told of our next scheduled OB High Risk appointment day and time yet it isn't actually scheduled. After leaving the office, we must routinely check MyChart to verify the appointment was created, and call the front desk staff repeatedly until someone answers to request the appointment to be scheduled / created again. And this happens repeatedly until the appointment is truly created and registered. During one visit, an ultrasound technician was completely rude and actually hurried through the scanning / interpretation WITHOUT FULL COMPLETION. We were the last patients scheduled and once she "finished" the ultrasound scan, she hurried to leave the office for the day. It was only 4PM. Who leaves work without finishing their work for their day, especially when they administer services for high-risk pregnant women? If you hate working with the public, why work with the public? If you are miserable at your place of employment, why continue to work there? You'd generally look for and get a different job, right? This is still common sense, right? Does UKY Health Care have a Complaints Department to officially report incompetent or downright disrespectful and inconsiderate personnel? Unacceptable, especially in a High Risk OB/GYN office where expectant mothers and families routinely visit. Mothers and families begin to dread and loathe appointments at the office solely because of individuals such as those mentioned."
"I can’t recommend this office enough! My OB is Dr. Rachel Saunders and she is wonderful! The office staff is amazing including Angie at the front desk she is so kind, Regan Dr. Saunders Medical assistant always was so thoughtful, and can’t forget Trina in the Ultrasound department! Dr. Saunders truly cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable. She always kept me in the loop and addressed any concerns I ever had. Being a first time mom and a nurse it was important for me to find someone I could trust. After I delivered my son I had some PP complications and her MA regan got me in the same morning for a ultrasound and visit with Dr. Saunders and my situation was handled quickly. Dr. Johnie Cooper actually delivered my baby due to Dr. Saunders being on vacation. He was so calm and collected and empowered me during my delivery! He also did a D&C on me postpartum. He truly cared about my situation and he even added me on to his surgery schedule that morning when my doctor was called to labor and delivery. I followed up with him after and he answered every question I had and really spent time with me. I can’t recommend this office and labor and delivery unit enough!!"
"If you are pregnant, RUN!!!!! This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. I am going through my first pregnancy and my doctor does not respond to messages about questions or concerns in mychart. The office itself does not answer their phone or respond to calls. My doctor just prescribed me medication that is UNSAFE for pregnancy and can cause miscarriage and fetal abnormalities. My primary care doctor said NOT to take what was prescribed. This isn't the first time she has told me a medication was safe for pregnancy and is not. There is so much more I could write. I am very upset with the "care" provided here."
