"Long story short I will never take my son here…why? Because my son’s thumb is infected and every time I called 2-3 times today to see if they have received my son’s doctor referral a rude telephone person kept saying if we get the referral mam we will call you. Last time I called there today was because my son’s main PCP doctor’s staff TOLD ME to call and see if they can get my son in sooner to see them(than Orthopedic Hand Center). WELL Othopedic Hand Care Center across the street called me SAME DAY to set up an appointment so I’m taking my chances with them and told the rude telephone person this.(don’t waste your time at Kurtz)"
"Back in October 2020 I sliced my middle finger open beyond repair. I seriously thought I was going to lose my finger. I went to a hospital. I severed 2 tendons and a nerve in my middle finger. I went to a popular hospital and had 5 reconstructive surgeries. Physical therapy for months, and nothing progressed. The doctor even remove an interior stitch with pliers? Umm what. This is what caused me to get a serious STAPH infection. The hunter rod was protruding from my finger it looked like a lollipop stick. He was thinking about amputation. A coworker of mine told me about Kleinert Kutz and I decided to give them a try. Dr. Moreno took me in as a patient immediately, 2 surgeries, physical therapy for a few months and I’m 99 percent back to normal. Kleinert Kutz literally changed my life. I never knew I was going to be able to move my middle finger ever again. I can make my hand in a complete fist! Jenny was my physical therapist. She was so kind, motherly, hilarious and to this day I just want to say, thank you. You made physical therapy a highlight of my week. She knew what she was doing and I progressed so fast. Thank you. Dr. Moreno, Jenny And to the other staff in physical therapy—Stacey & Melissa thank you. If anyone needs recommendations for a hand, arm & wrist specialist in Louisville I will always recommend Kleinert Kutz, Dr. Moreno, physical therapist Jenny."
"My appointment was on time. Every employee I encountered during check-in, X-rays, and Dr. Galvis himself made me feel comfortable about the whole process. Dr. Galvis gave me his opinion on my situation and never felt forced into any surgery. Everyone had a great attitude. Will definitely recommend. Thank you for my experience."
"I have been a patient of theirs for many years. From saving the use of my hand stemming from a car accident in 1981 to completely resolving the horrific pain of arthritic thumbs, to simple shots to relieve trigger finger issues, they are the best. You always work with your doctors so they know you your history. The staff at every location is wonderful. Somehow they manage to find and retain quality staff fro the receptionists to the nursing staff. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing assistance with anything involving your hands. Your hands are to valuable to trust just anyone!"
"Front office staff curt and less than personable! (2 stars) Never mind that there was some bad weather. The doctor is great and felt personally responsible for the additional wait time (5 stars). It was NOT his fault. All the fault belongs to the U of L call center. Patients "could" have been called and advised of the delay and offered a reschedule! When I called them to advise, as a courtesy that I might be a few minutes late due to the weather, they could have advised of the delays! So much for courtesy!"
