Reviews of Norton Immediate Care Center - Clarksville
"If I could give negative stars I would. I had been sick for a while. Tested multiple times for flu and Covid. Felt almost completely better, then boom, Friday the 23rd I woke up with so much sinus pressure behind my eyes I felt they would pop out. My teeth even hurt. I leave work early and decide to come to this awful place to see if they could help. Boy, I should’ve just ran the other direction. The only person who was worth anything that day was the receptionist. The triage MA was AWFUL. His name was Adam. He was very short with me, asking me insane questions, but I let it go, working in healthcare myself, I understand bad days happen. I was confused when he did not test me for flu or Covid. I thought that was standard practice. This place falls way short of standard. I go to my room. Flustered but sick and just ready to be seen and maybe get some answers. Again, I should’ve just left. After a bit, in walks the rudest, most foul APRN I’ve yet to meet in my 41 years of life. Every few minutes she would look at her watch as if I was keeping her from something more important. She then acted inherently appalled that I have haven’t seen my primary practitioner, who’s next available appointment isn’t until May. I was upset at this point and made sure she understood that I cannot get into my primary quickly enough to get help for this. She rolled her eyes so far into the back of her head I’m sure I heard her optic nerve pop. She then asked all the question that Mr. MA Adam asked but in an even less caring way. Asked if I had even tried anything over the counter. Obviously, yes. How is this an actual question? And if so, why ask it so sneeringly, as if I’m too stupid to notice the rudeness in your voice. Just ask the question. After looking at her watch for a fifth time she finally listens to my lungs….I came in for my horrible sinus pressure. She barely listens to me, she won’t look in my ears, even though I mentioned the pressure pain radiating in my ears. Doesn’t look at my throat or my sinuses. She finally just tells me the medicine she’s going to prescribe me and scoffs at me. Of course, she can’t just leave the room, before she shuts the door, she turns and tells me to quit smoking. I told her, I do not smoke, I do not vape. She laughs and rolls her eyes as if she doesn’t believe I’m a non-smoker. So, again, multiple times, I tell her I do not smoke. When she saw how upset I was getting, and only then, did she say it was a joke. It was the most unprofessional immediate care visit I have ever had. I warn you now, if you see the name Betty Sue Sams-Tinker, ask for a different APRN. She has better things to do than attend to her patients."
"This place is aweful. On mutiple occasions, the wait time (even after setting an appointment) is long, the doctors there do not care for their patients at all. All they care about is a check. They talk to you for maybe about one minute (on a good day), I felt rushed when I had questions, didnt address any of my concerns. Denied me antibiotics because they didnt feel it was necessary. I ended up having to go to the emergency room, to which the wait time was a lot shorter, they gave me antibiotic, pain medication, and set up an emergency visit to an eye doctor. None of which immediate care did. Only thing they are going to immediately do is charge me an arm and a leg for a "thirty minute" visit they didnt do. If you've had the same issue, dont just leave a review, be a karen and call cooperate!"
"Receptionist literally walked from behind the counter to the waiting room to get in my face. She said my son’s symptoms were “disgusting “ We came because he is puking blood. They made us wait 6 hrs, (waiting room was EMPTY) and ONLY GAVE HIM A COVID/STREP test NOTHING ELSE!!! For puking blood We’re on our way to a real emergency room"
"Brought my wife at 8:45 pm and they took her right back. Waiting room was empty. 5-star treatment too. Professional and friendly. Was worth the drive from Georgetown !!!!!"
"I put my son on the wait list at 10am this morning to come in at 2pm since the website listed the walk in wait time at a whopping 2 hour 45 min. I requested the text to let us know if our place in the queue would be pushed back if they were running behind and we didn't receive any update on it until we got there 25 min early for check in and were told it would be an additional hour after our original check in time. We drove 15 min up the road to Jeff immediate care and were taken back within 10 minutes."
