"I would give a negative if I could…. They are the most unfriendly, rude, don’t care attitude for a front desk staff I have EVER encountered. My 4 year old was running fever and had been very sick with all the things over the weekend so I scheduled an appointment, and I was a few minutes late(due to having a 4 year old with diarrhea) and they refused to see us. This isn’t the first time they were terrible about their service, last year my granddaughter was sick and they refused to see her and she ended up being hospitalized for 3 days at cooks children in Dallas…. Beware of taking your children here… these people don’t care about kids"

"I took my child in for a sports physical in 2018. Service given was a basic physical. After the physical the Dr. McBride informed the lady at the front desk that the amount due was for the physical. I believe it was about $25. The clinic went back and changed the code to something else way after the service and payment were completed. I called the clinic when I received a bill of over $200, they stated they would look into it and correct the issue. Now over a year later I recieved a letter that they sent this manipulated bill to collection. The WHC in Haslet Texas is a dishonest organization. Changing service codes after service and payment is honorable!!!! Y'all should be ashamed of your selves."
"Once you can actually get in the doors, the doctors and nurses are great. However, the receptionists, and the people who operate the phones are extremely snarky, and they are all very poor at communicating. It's like they don't realize they're dealing with sick people who are desperately trying to become healthy. Or worse, they are aware of it and use it to feel in control."
"New patients please read: My daughter was going to be a new patient here. And then on our day for our appointment my little one's got that cold bug floating around (and we all know that when 1 gets it in a family it makes it ALL the way around). I called the dr's office the second day after her scheduled appointment to apologize for missing it and see if there was an opening for the following week. The first lady I spoke with, I believe her name was April (she was helping out the front desk because they were short staffed today) was very kind and listened and then had me wait for the front desk so we could figure it out. Then, I was transferred and the front desk lady who looks up my information then immediately shuts me down stating that for new patients their policy is that if you have a no call no show for new patients then you will not be rescheduled. I was taken back a bit because when I informed her that I wasn't informed of this policy she just dismissed me again stating that most practices follow this policy, then the call was ended. I am writing this review not to bash on the dr., or even their policies, I understand I was wrong for not calling immediately but when you're kids are sick you're just not thinking about anything other than them. This was my fault yes, but when it comes to enforcing a policy you need to make sure that the policies are clearly stated to your NEW patients/customers. We moved here out of state, so typical policies that may be of the norm who live here may not be of the norm to us (or anyone else for that matter). So please, don't tell a mother this about "norms" after telling her that you will not reschedule her, the news is already a slap in the face and it doesn't need to have a backhanded response just to make it sting a little more. So, I'm sharing your policy on here so that all new patients are aware and don't make the same mistake I made, and to also attempt at preventing any other parents from being treated this way."
