"The nurse practitioners here are quite good from a medical standpoint. But they seem to know very little about how to run a business smoothly. And make no mistake, a medical clinic is a for profit business and, while we are called "patients," we are the customers. My mother and I have been happy up until now. But we are both very annoyed with the lack of personal attention that we used to get when we first started coming here. It is virtually impossible to call Infinity on the phone and actually get a warm body to answer. We have to go through over 2 minutes of instructions and the accompanying cattle call before we finally get the voice mail, are asked to leave a message and then we may get a return call and we may not get a return call. Today, I admit that I made an honest mistake. I thought my appointment was on the 14th and it was, in reality, scheduled for the 15th. All I needed was a TB skin test which takes all of two minutes to give me a shot. But Charity refused to accommodate me smugly saying that they were all booked up. GREAT! Now I have to go all the way back home and clear my calendar for yet another day. I sure hope to goodness that I'm not inconveniencing anyone. When I operated a business of my own, I wouldn't have dreamed of pushing my customers around in order to accommodate myself. Rather, I would bend over backwards to work with them so that I didn't lose their business. These gals here need to grow up and learn that their clientele is their bread and butter."
